I didn't know a lot about glassblowing before coming here, but thought that it would be fascinating to learn more about it, especially in a place that knows so much about it and makes such beautiful glasswork. They walked us through the process and showed us how to make different pieces of glass art, and the final artwork is so breathtakingly beautiful that I was afraid to touch anything.

But it was expected as Nazareth receives every year many much more tourists than Akko (Acre).
So the shops in this market are somehow less interesting than there. Not without reminding the Jerusalem Old City's market.
Still, for those who like the colorful ambiance of these streets, the hustle bustle of the crowd and the constant bargaining game, then this is the place to be in Nazareth.

    Why Boutique?

Because of its modest size and because of its not so modest prices.
Still it is nice to stroll between the shops and enjoy this rather special atmosphere.

The must-visit place in Nazareth combines art, history, legacy, and fascinating family stories.
This family-run pottery has a long history; it started in 1919 and has continued to operate until now.
We spent a lovely Saturday morning at the pottery. At first, we were greeted by Basem with coffee, and he gave us an introduction to the ancient history of pottery and the fascinating story of the founder of pottery, his grandfather. Took us on a tour to see the machines and the products, and then showed us the process of making them in the workshop. We learned techniques for making a bowl, drawings, and various shapes. And had fun working with the clay.
They hosted us perfectly, explained in a very interesting way, answered questions, shared the story of the family, listened, and guided us through the workshop.
I am a resident of Nazareth, and it was my first time in the pottery. Too bad I didn't participate before. I think it's a must-do activity for everyone visiting Nazareth, especially tourists who want to taste and feel the local history and culture

They have a small market, restaurants, and a cafe right as soon as you enter. The food is solid and the service was fantastic. The bathrooms are clean, this felt more of a small shopping center rather than a quick stop for lunch. This is a consistent area to stop by if it’s on your way.

We entered and the proprietor immediately gave us samples of the cheeses. There was a good variety and each was unusual and good. There were also olives and halvah, also delicious. We were pleased with our purchases and the fact that this was a tiny gem. We saw others there who were having a more structured visit at a table with cheese and wine. Also an option
We’d go back the next time here.
