  • Thomas Pettiti, Esquire on another awesome adventure through downtown Chicago and up 103 floors to dance 🕺 like Michael Jackson while looking down at the entire city! The Ledge was completely amazing and great for everyone! We walked to The Bean afterwards and then stopped for helado break! Highly recommend Expedited Tour!!

Given the proximity to "corner of Wabash and Lake" used by Neo and Trinity to exit the Matrix, this piece of art is just trippy enough to be worthy of its proximity to the legendary location used in The Matrix. Best view is from the bottom wher it feels you're in a gigantic kaleidoscope.

Its a beautiful park with elaborate gardens, structures, art installations and playground for children as well. One can comfortably spend a few hours relaxing and enjoying the site. The Bean steals the show in the park. Loved it.. Downtown Chicago is fun..

Only one of us is a lover of baseball, but it was still a great evening. It probably helped that the Cubbies won that night! But the stadium is amazing - no such thing as a bad seat. The only downsides - limited menu (we've been spoiled with vegan food and alcohol-free beer at other stadiums) and the traffic when you're leaving.

It was beautiful to walk - This is by far one of the highlights of my trip to Chicago. Great place to see the architecture and enjoy the passing boats

This building must be priceless given the architecture, marble, dimensions, etc. Really awesome to visit and photograph.

The Conservatory was a wonderful way to spend the morning. The plants/landscapes were so nice to walk through. The staff was very friendly and plants were identified for easy recognition. I Highly recommend visiting for a peaceful 2 hours

    It's a great area.
You'll walk a lot so make sure you have comfortable shoes. There are a lot of bars, restaurants, shops.
You can rent scooters and bikes.

One of the great outdoor features in Chicago is this fountain in Grant Park. It was the opening for the TV show Married with Children. It has also been featured in many other shows set in Chicago.

Unfortunately, both times we visited the fountain it was down for repairs, while they started. However, the last day before we left, we caught a glimpse of the fountain working as we left town. I greatly enjoyed this fountain, especially the way it is set against the skyline. It was made for pictures.

If you're a new visitor to Chicago, or have never taken the trip up to the Skydeck, it's a great way to get your bearings in Chicago.
There's an awesome view of Lake Michigan to you can see exactly how huge it is and great 360 degree views of the entire City.
    Definitely worth visiting.

I have traveled extensively. This skyline is top of the list in America. Nice to photograph even on a rainy day.

I attended a sold-out concert here; there isn’t a bad seat in this place, even in the 300s. Excellent sound and views all around. They don’t accept cash. Bottled water is $6 each. Getting there was a breeze. We paid ahead of time via Ticketmaster ($28 or so) for a parking spot in Lot C, right by the venue. Upon arrival, all the attendant had to do was scan my ticket via phone. Then they direct you wear to park, consistent to follow the line. The way out — took about an hour, so plan accordingly. There are no police or others directing traffic out of the parking lot into the main streets. Lots of gridlocked honking cars! Pack your patience or leave out a few min early to avoid altogether. It would be nearly impossible to pick up a taxi or Uber on the way home. Didn’t see any. And with a packed 21,000 person arena… would be chaos.

This place is nice with a mix of tourist and regulars. Nice waterfront spot. Take time to see. Great views of the city and buildings. It is free so nothing to loose.

Our family toured the Robie House while in the Chicago area and had a great experience. This is definitely an activity for adults or older children; my child is a very mature tween and she enjoyed seeing the house and asking questions, but is accustomed to these tours and behaved accordingly. Our guide was fantastic, and I believe he runs the site, so perhaps has greater knowledge and interest than other reviewers commenting on the guide. Having never seen a FLW home in person, I thought this was well done and I appreciate the restoration that ensures the house is true to its 1920’s original appearance. My child was disappointed there was little furniture to see (there is some), but the house has changed hands a few times.

Gift shop had a range of items at several price levels and all staff we spoke with were wonderful. Would highly recommend this experience,as it was convenient from downtown Chicago on the Meatra ($2 reduced fare ticket each way, per person) and our taxi was $20 for the family from the downtown - note we didn’t see many taxi options going back to Chicago so we rode the train. On street parking is plentiful BUT school was not in session. Gorgeous area with many other cool buildings on the University of Chicago campus. Also close to the Museum of Science and Industry.
