Decided to revisit after having so much fun last year. Wasn’t disappointed. Had a fun filled 2 1/2 hours, grandkids (5 and 7 year old) especially enjoyed fishing, ice cream and seeing the new baby piggies! It was warm, but plenty of chairs and places to sit between exhibit areas. Staff was friendly and helpful, prices really reasonable. All had a great time.

Lovely place to walk and look at plants and flowers. The site has different areas for different types of plants. Parking is plentiful and the admission fee is quite reasonable.

Indian Creek Greenway Trail is an awesome trail for biking. The approximately 17-mile long trail is asphalt-paved and runs on the banks of Indian Creek most of the time. Several community parks go by along the trail. A few spots have some steep hills, and some low spots may be flooded or muddy in wet conditions. It runs most of the time trough woods, but being in urban area, highway noise is not too far off. Pretty elaborate Historical Waymarkers are installed every few miles along the trail.

Indian Creek Greenway is highly popular and used by walkers, runners, and cyclists. It connects up with two other beautiful trails - Blue River Greenway and Tomahawk Creek Greenway.

The convention center is great. We go there for the craft shows and holiday show every year. The inside is well maintained and parking has never been an issue for us.

This group was wonderful!!! It’s nine blokes in an Ireland pub singing a variety of pop, rock and jazz with a few basic instruments. Their voices are the main wonderful event.

Carlsen Center has events most weekends. They have a variety of styles, and tastes in their presentations and at decent prices, so look at them on the weekend here in the southwest KC suburbs and see what they have.

From the awesome outside to the all the neat things to see inside, this is really a must see/do at least once when you are in the area!! There is a small charge to see the exhibits inside, but, not much and worth it... they do change up from time to time, so if it's been a few years, go back and check it out.

This memorial is in front of the Overland Park, Kansas Fire Training Center. There is a steel girder from the World Trade Center, a "Weeping Wall" with water flowing, floor tiles from the World Trade Center. A panel lists the names of the people killed in the terrorist attacks on 9/11/

My dad and I visited the museum over the 2023 summer and had an enjoyable experience. The galleries are beautifully curated with local artists while also incorporating more diverse artists in their collection. We appreciated the variety of works as we toured around. If you are looking for a moment of art while visiting JoCo, KS, please make sure to stop by!

This isn't big but it is powerful. It is on the corner of a relatively busy intersection, but parking is free and it is easy to find. Since it is very close to my house, I drive by often and I am amazed that almost every time I go by there are people visiting.
