It was great to walk there, watch the boats passing. The Cape Cod Canal is 28 km long, located in Massachusetts connecting Cape Cod Bay in the north to Buzzards Bay in the south. It is part of the Atlantic Intracoastal Waterway.

Started at FREE Buzzards Bay recreational area and rode the complete paved path to Scusset Beach- 7 miles one way on the north side. There is a path on the south side as well. 3 well marked stopping/parking areas with bathrooms on both sides for shorter rides or walks. Mostly level since the path is by the canal edge. dog walkers, people fishing, bird watching, boats passing in the canal, just lovely. Returning was into the wind so be aware- it takes a bit more effort. Food locations within easy reach if wanted and totally unknown camping areas revealed off RT 6, but the path is well away from traffic and noise. Excellent map printed off internet beforehand.

If you visit the Cape you must see the train bridge! What an amazing thing to see it lower for the train to cross the canal. You can also do breakfast, lunch or dinner and you will actually get to go over the bridge on the train. We did the dinner train this year and we were not disappointed. We actually got to sit on the bridge in the train for a short time.

Wow words can’t describe how amazing our guide Jeremy was. He kept us entertained and learning for 3 hours. My entire family from 8 to 50 had a fantastic time.

Those families whose loved ones are interred at the Massachusetts National Cemetery are blessed to have the diligent and faithful workers - office staff, family relations, and the groundskeepers, who take care of this sacred spot. If you are considering this cemetery for your loved one, please note that the time allotted for committal services is fairly brief, so you really ought to have a funeral/memorial service prior to coming here. The staff are professional but friendly and are focused on meeting the needs of those who are grieving.

We walked along the Cape Cod Canal pathway which is shared by cyclists and pedestrians. A very relaxing walk where you can experience anglers fishing, watercraft of all sizes and beautiful nature. A great experience and we are sure to be back.

Extraordinary staff make the house unique. It is a beautifully restored home from 1802 added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1981. Decorated to the 1840-1910 period when the summer White House of Grover Cleveland was just down the street in Grey Gables, and before the completion of the Cape Cod Canal. I especially enjoyed the special exhibit of the old Bourne postcards.

Today was a hot day for the trip but it was fun . The girl in the office was friendly and helpful. Both kids 5 and 4 year old were delighted to have the Butterflies land on them
    Its small but fun

We try to go walking somewhere different every weekend but we've been here a couple times now in different seasons. Very nice trails and if you're adventurous you can find unmarked trails to walk too.

A great place to see a blob of glass worked into a piece of art ! I fear the high prices will challenge this very important historical glass company to remain open.
There is a huge history with Pairpoint Glass in MA and it should be presented to the public at this shop .

I happened on a notice that there was a "behind" the scenes availability - overall even though the seal "posed" for a kodak moment (you can not take pictures nor even talk in the facility) - i was very disappointed in the "experience -

Ok place to take little ones -

Once again Great Cause - Great Staff - so I do recommend supporting their effort

The Sagamore Hill military reservation site from WW II is interesting to look over (some of the structures remain) and offers good views. It's a nice easy walk. Sometimes you might see owls in the woods along the trail.
