    More than just the boarding! A great way to start the day.
    A really memorable experience. Even the drive out to the site feels something like a safari tour which is a cool experience. The volcano itself and surrounding scenery are awesome, so we really enjoyed the hike up. It does get quite windy up there so don’t be ashamed to hand over your board to a porter if you don’t want to battle the wind. And the ride down was great fun. Easy to control your speed so it’s all up to you how hard you go. Our guide was great, super friendly and knowledgeable and more than willing to help make it enjoyable.

    Franklin is a wealth of knowledge. He has inspired us to further continue our study on Latin American history.
    The tour was brilliant . I strongly advise a private tour with Franklin . His passion for Leon was infectious and his knowledge outstanding. An intelligent young man who represented his city well. He patiently answered all our questions and inspired us to learn more.

    Highly recommend!
    Very good experience. We were the only two in this tour :). Could try different fruits, sweets, one drink and one typical meal.
    Oscar is the best guide with very good english knowledge and also very good german! Very sympathic and he did it really good.
    We highly recommend this tour, because you come to try things you would not buy if you don't know it. It is totally worth it :)

    Great way to experience Leon area
    This was such a great experience. Franklin catered it to our interests and needs, and took us all over to try local food, see mud pits, swim in a secluded lagoon, visit old Leon. We got to see places and had experiences that wouldn't have been feasible on our own. He’s funny, entertaining, and made our time here so meaningful and enjoyable!

    Amazing Experience
    The experience was amazing!!!! 1000% recommend. Our tour guides were so informative and helpful. They were also extremely patient because we were first time hikers. If I ever visit Nicaragua again, I will book them. This was the highlight of our trip

    Great tour with Nicaragua Tours Team
    We were a party of five and none of us had been to Nicaragua before. We got off our cruise ship in February 2020 and decided to do a private tour with Nicaragua Tours Team. Another couple from Switzerland joined our group and we set off on our tour. What a great experience. The driver spoke little or no English but our tour guide was very fluent and knowledgeable. We left it all in his hands as to where to take us and what he thought we needed to see. We had a very enjoyable day, leisurely and saw the highlights of Nicaragua. It was easy to pick this tour up just off the ship and we were more than satisfied. Excellent service all around.

    Very friendly and professional company
    Great company which provides professional local guides with adequate equipment, unlike some other operators. Memo is very responsive and friendly, booking is very easy. The guide Henry was very knowledgeable about the trail, local animals and other things in Nicaragua. Highly recommend :)

    Nicaragua’s nature at its finest!
    Franklin did an excellent job in coordinating this tour last minute for me. I added it about a week before my departure and he was so accommodating about it! I say this because I want to emphasize how incredibly organized he is! I’m so glad that I added it because I wanted to get as much out of Nicaragua that I could during my
    Short stay there.

    The horse back ride to the lagoon was such a beautiful experience out in nature! I also love that this was a family owned farm. I really felt like I had a very authentic, organic experience which is very important to me. We even had a real cowboy with us on the trail to help and guide us along the way. The horses were so cute, docile, beautiful and easy to ride. The trails were gorgeous! Stunning greenery everywhere, farmland, and volcano views. The ride itself was so relaxing and nice. Once we got the lagoon, I relaxed and hung out in the water, swam a bit and just stared into the beauty of the lagoon and it’s surroundings. Franklin and I talked and chilled, I felt like I was hanging out with a friend. He also took gorgeous videos and photos of me as well! Both at the lagoon and while horseback riding. I love to look back at them!

    Great/Dependable Tour Operator
    We had a great trip with Frank, hiking the volcano then sand boarding down.
    Our group was a mix of c.30yrs - 87yrs and Frank and his team were awesome, helpful and very accomodating. On top of that, Frank is great with his own camera and more than willing to send photos across, without any additional payment.
    Couldn’t recommend it enough.

    So beautiful
    Loved using Vamos Travel for this tour! Communication was easy and Max was a great guide. The hike was really nice, the crater was awing, and the sunset views were amazing. They got us sandwiches for dinner and we drank beers at the top. So fun and definitely worth it!
