- CatMom129 contributionsThis tour is the best experience we've ever had in Mexico! You must book with this company if you want an authentic off-road experience! For starters, our hotel was outside Sayulita so we took a taxi to their ranch. We arrived early and was immediately greeted by ranch employees. They showed us to their on-site restaurant where we had sodas and quesadillas while waiting on our tour to start. We looked at pictures of famous celebrities who have done tours with this company, such as Kim Kardashian, Gweneth Paltrow, and Tom Cruise.
Dani the tour guide taught us each how to operate semi-automatic 4 wheelers. He took us for a practice lap to make sure we were comfortable driving them. We took off into the jungle to a private overlook of the pacific ocean. Dani showed us a hidden trail to a secluded overlook for more pictures. Throughout our tour we were followed by a photographer named Niko who served as our "private paparazzi" for the day. Niko would pop out of nowhere behind trees and mountains to take candid pictures of our group. Purchasing the pictures is an optional add-on after your tour. We got 98 pictures for approx. $100 USD. It was totally worth it!
Then, Dani took us through a graveyard where we could see alters honoring the dead. We popped out of the woods onto cobblestone streets along the coast. We passed through the beach town of Sayulita and took in all the sights & sounds on our ride along the coast.
When we made it back to the ranch, we were immediately ushered into a free tequila tasting. It was some of the best tequila we've ever tasted! There's even an in-ground pool on the grounds of the ranch in case you need to cool off after your tour. We put our feet in and soaked up the sunshine!
Dani noticed we didn't have a ride back to our hotel, so he gave us free transportation all the way back to Punta Mita in an air conditioned van. I would rate the customer service for this company a 6 out of 5 stars if I could. You get to experience 2 different cities and have time to walk around a bit in each. You'll have some wonderful scenery for pictures and have time for lunch while you're there! On the boat ride out to the islands, the crew inquired about the skill and comfort levels of the participants, then explained where we would be going and how long we’d be in the water at each location. It all felt very safe, professional, and friendly. The islands were fantastic, we saw so many beautiful fish! Guzman, our skilled and friendly tour guide, took us to the most beautiful secluded beach during sunset and it did not disappoint. I would highly recommend taking the longer trail time slot and you MUST go at sunset! - Amy V1 contributionWe saw jungle, sea, and city all in one excursion. The way we left the ranch wasn’t the same route we took on the way back, so it was interesting the whole time. The road was at different points paved, dirt, cobblestone, and river crossing. I loved getting splashed through the river, but you could drive slowly and stay dry if you’d prefer. Our guide, Nef, was as gorgeous as the scenery, as he accommodated our interests and took us at a fun but safe pace. Captain Diego will guide you to prime fishing spots where you can reel in a variety of fish species, from water and bears, to experience firsthand the rich marine biodiversity of the area. After a successful fishing excursion, you can take a refreshing swim in the crystal-clear waters, immersing yourself in the natural beauty of the Sayulita coast.
One of the highlights of the trip is undoubtedly enjoying a fresh ceviche prepared by Captain Diego himself. Made with the catch of the day and served with traditional Mexican flavors, the ceviche is a delicious and satisfying way to cap off your day on the water.

We never needed anything since they kept a great rotation of asking us either for drinks or different snacks they offered throughout the tour. The fajita lunch was loved by all 5 of us! Snorkeling was great and the hike to the waterfall was super adventurous with a fun swim in the waterfall!
