- Mike FAntigo, WI631 contributionsThis is such an amazing spot! Only visited once but cannot wait to return!
Bridge to see the falls and river is 1 minute from parking, along with bathrooms. Looked like trails are numerous but we only explored the lower falls, which was unreal! About a 10 min hike/ climb down. We brought a pole and caught fish which was so cool! This is a place I’d like to spend some serious time and plan to on our next trip!Written 18 October 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. The museum has several rooms of historical decor and artifacts that show the life of the pioneers that settled the town of Big Timber. Many were from Norway and the history is rich with stories of the families that lived there. Many of the locals are descendants of the original pioneers. I found it interesting to walk around and look at all the families that were listed alphabetical and had pictures as special memories shown. In the middle of the room were big posterboard type room dividers that listed newspaper articles, ads and pictures from the variety of businesses they had over the years each categorized by type of business. Rodeo and ranchers were featured in another room. Schools and hobbies. Fascinating! My husband and I enjoyed talking with the volunteer curator who was a local and retired teacher. She was a wealth of information! I highly recommend stopping in and let the museum tell you about the people who lived there.Written 1 August 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - CTravel12United States2,208 contributionsThis rodeo is not just for entertainment. Cowboys and cowgirls compete for prize money and points on the Montana PRCA circuit. On the day we went, the riding was awesome, and there were lots of locals in the stands as well.
The trick rider during the break was very talented, at times I was holding my breath- but she definitely knew what she was doing! Fun to watch.
It’s worth your time to plan a drive out to Big Timber to catch the show. This is an authentic glimpse of small-town Montana life. Grub & beer were great, as well, everyone was super friendly. I'd advise getting there early, the stands filled up and those who came late had the sun in their eyes for a bit until it went down.Written 9 February 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. The tribute sign to first responders in the front of the courthouse is so heartfelt.Written 18 March 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Robby G CToronto, Canada81,632 contributionsI liked the motto of this church: "O Lord send us your Spirit."
They have beautiful wooden doors.
They have light brown bricks, alla round the church.
There are trees
There is also a ramp for the handicaps. That was worthwhile!

We were there for lunch as a family traveling in the area, and felt very pleased with our random choice. Besides the huge space inside, which means you can be close to the bar or far away, there's a nice eating area outside. The food is hearty--burgers and also salads and soup; the prices reasonable.Written 4 September 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
