The Lazy River had cool water which was refreshing on a 100F-degree day. We were so glad we got our cabana in that area. Our 3 grandkids had a blast just going around and around.

The staff that served us in the Cabana were prompt and very pleasant and stayed all day providing their services. In our opinion the Cabana was worth the cost as we stayed there from 8am - 6pm. The food selections were fantastic for breakfast and lunch being at poolside.

One huge drawback was the wave pool, it was a major disappointment. The water temperature was very, very cold, nowhere near the 80F-degree as advertised. The waves were merely 3 foot swells every 90 seconds. Major disappointment when there is a 4-foot height limit, and everyone is corralled into a small area to be watched.

We had a couple of mornings at Moorea on a recent vacation. First time the sun rapidly disappeared, so we tried again another day with more success.

Every bed was taken by early afternoon but I had managed a dip in the pool by then so no problems. Unfortunately the frozen drinks machine was out of use on the warmer day so a couple of cold Stella Artois (on buy one get one) were a good alternative for us.

Pool area itself is large with plenty of seats (if you are willing to pay) but also lots of floor space. Great music and vibe for young people.
Drinks are ridiculously over priced at this time of year - $16 for a small bottle of beer and around $22 for a small spirit woth mixer or cocktail. Unfortunately due to these prices we did not stay long.

The last time I stayed at Bally's, which is now The Horseshoe, was in March 2014. At that time the Blu Pool wasn't open for to the public as I believe due to drainage issues. About 9 years later I stayed at The Horseshow where I stayed for 5 nights in the second of July this year. During my stay I swam at the Blu Pool multiple times including on the day of my check-out when the weather at Vegas was 116 F. Each pool at each hotel has different features. At the Horseshoe the feature of the Blu Pool is the deep end, which is 15 feet deep. The deep end incentivizes you to swim. This isn't a party pool as a lot are in Vegas and because of that this pool isn't very crowded as others. Even though I enjoy the atmosphere of party pools there are times I want to relax when I'm at a pool. One of the most relaxing times when I was at Vegas was swimming at the deep end of this pool. You only get to swim at the deep end of the pool is if there are lifeguards at that area. The one thing I didn't like about the Blu Pool is the lifeguards aren't at that area the first hour and last hour when the pool is open. Even though the Blu Pool is free for the guests, people are on vacation would like if the deep end of the pool is available for the whole time. If you want to unwind I recommend swimming at the deep end of the Blu Pool.

Venus pool needs a serious music overhaul. Hard EDM at 10am? really? Tone it down couple notches. This pool is supposed to be relaxing. Play some day time pool vibes house music, lounge, chill-out.

The pool was okay. It was a place to cool off from the heat but it was difficult to find shade and the water was a bit filmy, probably from people's sunscreen. Also, a locker cost $8 which I thought was a bit much since we only stayed for a couple of hours.

    Great girls day out.
Booked the pool party as part of 40th birthday celebrations, visiting from the UK.
We were greeted at the door and shown to our cabana. With a minimum spend to meet we had 2 bottles of vodka (mixers and ice replenished regularly by Evan) and food, food was really great to pick at whilst drinking and dancing! Linda looked after us so well and talked us through the whole minimum spend process, really lovely girl. With the cabana we had a pool shared with other cabanas which was great in the July heat, as was the water mister in the cabana. We had so much fun dancing and felt so safe, shout out to Junior who kept checking in that we were all ok. Can't rate the staff here enough.

Ayu is the new island/Bali themed Vegas pool party. While it has an open layout, it’s multiple pool floor plan with narrow walk areas makes it a more crowded version of Drais. Access to the bars are a bit difficult, but there is ample space once you get there.

Service is okay, but kind of slow, and far better if you can get a table though that is still slow as well.

The sound system is pretty good.

Overall it’s a good time if your artist is playing there, but otherwise it may a better time at EBC or Marquee. It’s just too cramped.

Way too few lounge chairs for the number of rooms in this hotel. Then of course they try and sell you the cabana along with the minimum drink fee. The worst part was the fact that they were totally closed on Tuesday... what a joke!

The pool is terrible: to small for the many people, not nice laid out, dirty floor, no showers, you can hear the music from both pools at the same time - makes you confusing, very high prices for drinks. The rooms are okay. Best: the location is perfect.
