Falls Lake State Recreation Area Wake Forest 12.4 km away
#1 of 6 Nature & Parks in Wake Forest
If you were to go visit Falls Lake State Recreational Park, go to Beaver Dam State Park becaused motorized boats are prohibited, water is pretty clear and there are vast areas to camp, hike, kayak, fish or swim.
Or, if your preference is car camping anyway, you're all set, as both parks have regular bathrooms and hot showers, and you can hike as much or as little of the trail as you are comfortable with.
