The best gem mining, with the best rocks, best staff. The staff stay right with you helping you identify all your gems.
My husband loves this place, we have been there 3 times, he has Stage IV Kidney Cancer and has this new hobby as he can not work, the staff are helpful to him and our 10 year old daughter, and from what I have saw everyone else that comes.

Totally worth the time and the money to stop in and see this, classic roadside Americana.

Admission is $10, and there are discounts for seniors and military; best to ask at the door about this.

it's easy in and out, right off Route 23, easy to spot. There is ample free parking. total time inside, well, that's up to you. This is not a gigantic exposition but there is an awful lot of interesting stuff tucked into this space.

We were lucky enough to attend while Catman was in the house, a wonderful friendly gentleman who is happy to talk anything cat. Note that your fee also helps fund the shelter run by Catman.

Looks like a fun kid play area. I wondered of its safety with a man, who appeared homeless laying on the asphalt within the park. And another homeless man outside the park.

Worth the work!! We hiked to pinnacle peak and it’s all uphill of course but the view at the top it worth it and the trail is very well maintained!

This shop is a blast from the past with a little bit of everything that’s artfully displayed and a delight to walk through. The owner is very knowledgeable and has a great eye for detail. A true gem, such a fun and slightly quirky place to shop.

Been kayaking there for several years. Best place in Jackson Co. The other boaters are curtious. Many fun n. Exciting events, like the bald eagle following us as we zigzaged up the lake. Otters, deer and a young bear were see.n on the banks, in the early morning. best time to see these. Ready to return this week.

The gallery is volunteer run. The two artists that were there the day we visited were very friendly and engaging. I really liked the work of Joseph Meigs who I understand has recently passed away.

Nice community park. My wife and I were recently traveling through town & spent some time here. We walked around the perimeter of the park, watched dogs playing at the dog park, spent time at the plaza dedicated to the U.S. Constitution & The Bill Of Rights, and then enjoyed a snack while sitting and relaxing at one of the multiple park benches before getting back on the road.
    Park Amenities include:
    1-Four tennis courts
2-Paved walking path, winds around the park (Dog friendly, must be on a leash).
3-Multiple park benches are strategically placed if you need to rest
    4-A small Dog park
5-Pavilion with picnic tables & grill
    6-Kid’s playground
    7-2 baseball fields
    8-Four outdoor basketball courts
    9-Restroom facilities
Conveniently located a couple of blocks from downtown Sylva. Open daily. Two entrances, limited parking.

It’s not a very big store, but there’s enough to see. There’s something for everyone. You can park your car around the corner.
