- 411donaldfEl Paso TX, United States3 contributionsNice family area for picnics, camping, fishing and boating. The lake is not real big but is just about the right size for this rural area. We have camped and fished several times during our visits to the Wishek area. During the off season (between the summer recreation period and the ice fishing time) access is wonderful with the ability to choose the camping and fishing spot of your choice. Toilet facilities have always been a bit on the down side.Written 18 October 2017This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Carmen RWNapoleon, North Dakota, United States100 contributionsThe "World's Largest Badger," lives in Wishek. He's been named "Barney" and was the school mascot for many years until Ashley and Wishek consolidated sports and the team became known as the Mustangs. Mustangs or not, Barney remains and to my knowledge, no one has ever challenged the "world's largest" claim.Written 29 October 2012This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - MXNvacationNorth Dakota235 contributionsNice time was spent here again. Attended a large wedding the place was packed. They had great food prepared by someone they hired. Nice large dance floor and it was well used with a large crowd of people.Written 26 June 2017This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
