- bertaronChicago230 contributionsA very nice conservatory with many poinsettias for the season. The campus has a ton of Dale Chihuly glass art. There are also toy trains outside with igloos you can sit if coldWritten 27 November 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Good bakeries and coffee shops, but the best site is the bookstore!!! 32 rooms with so much variety, we ran out of time from the 2 hr street parkingWritten 22 October 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Admission was quite pricey and cost 48 dollars to view both the science exhibits and the temporary Titanic exhibit on display. The science center was quite large and spanned across several different floors. There were many hands on activities for both children and adults alike. There were also many informational plaques out for display, that provided fun facts about various science themed experiments. After viewing several of the exhibits, we made our way towards the temporary Titanic exhibit. The Titanic exhibit was definitely my favorite part of the museum. The tickets were timed and we were not able to access this section of the museum until the exact time arrived. There was gloomy music playing overhead that echoed across all the rooms we went into. We were also able to view actual recovered artifacts from the ship that were out for display. The temporary exhibit also contained informational plaques, that provided interesting information about the Titanic and the people who were traveling on it. The exhibit also recreated several rooms that mirrored the Titanic, such as the main corridor, the various bedrooms depending on class, and the grand stairway. After viewing the Titanic exhibit, we made our way to the planetarium, where we watched a show about the northern lights. There were several places to eat, along with a gift shop and restrooms, scattered throughout the museum.

Most of the seating is located upstairs and it can get pretty busy during the lunch hour, but well worth the trip if you haven't tried it before!Written 27 August 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Kimberly TLake Stevens, WA6 contributionsCannot recommend highly enough! We spent two hours there (and would have stayed longer but they were closing). Since you touch everything (it’s all interactive) it’s nice that they have sanitizer everywhere. There are puzzles hidden within the place that they don’t tell you about, which is pretty cool - you have to figure it out. We wound up asking for some clues to figure it out (mentioned we don’t live in the area and won’t be able to come back) and one of the employees gave some clues - not enough to spoil it. It was so much fun and absolutely amazing! Go there, touch everything, and give yourself more time than you think you need.Written 22 September 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - iowahuskerfanDes Moines25 contributionsCame for the game vs Nebraska and couldn’t have been more impressed by the staff. We were wearing Nebraska gear and no less than 6 workers asked us if we had any questions or needed any assistance finding anything. Fantastic ambassadors for the university, Columbus and the state of Ohio!Written 28 October 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Julie B4 contributionsBeautiful theatre!
It was an incredibly busy night when we visited (The Lion King!), but there were a lot of staff working and they were all great, kind, and helpful.
The theatre is not huge so you can get a good seat pretty much anywhere (as long as you do not have an oversized individual sitting in front of you!!)!!Written 4 July 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Lee APhiladelphia, PA682 contributionsThis was the perfect place for us to use as a base (staying at The Joseph hotel) for our Columbus vacation. There were lots of restaurants (like Northstar Café, Rooh, The Guild House, The Lox, Jeni's) and shops (Samson, Big Fun, Macaron Bar). It is clean and beautiful (lots of murals) and in easy walking distance to the North Market and Goodale Park.Written 18 October 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - cenztOhio21,401 contributionsGood trip. We arrived at approximately 9:30 am and made our way towards the entrance of the park. There was an informational plaque in front of the park that detailed its history and what the sculpted shrubs represented. The sculpted shrubbery was very close to the entrance of the park. We made our way from shrub to shrub, admiring the artwork and precision to detail. There were quite a few people out and about with their animals in the park.

Kids had fun in the Wonder Room and other interactive sections downstairs, and got to make their own art using a wide variety of supplies during Open Studio time (Saturdays).Written 21 October 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
