Renato ran an energetic and fantastic cooking class. The results were tasty and we can't wait to use our new skills (or have him back for another lesson).

We booked a private "date night" glass blowing activity for my husband's birthday. It was such an interesting and fun activity. We had a number of projects to choose from and had an amazing hands on experience making our own drinking glasses. We are both hooked and can't wait for our next visit! We plan to bring our whole family for a holiday project. The staff was friendly and super accommodating, which made for a wonderful experience.

Oh and the chocolate, amazing. We went as part of a Forktown Food Tour, the people working there were really friendly and helpful. We learned a lot and went back after the tour and bought a bag full of salts and chocolates.

My wife and I picked a class, and arrived a little early to secure secure some liquid courage! Provided with all the materials - apron, brushes, paint and a glass of wine, we thoroughly enjoyed the two hour experience following the leader session and were pleasantly surprised at the resulting paintings. Our first but certainly not last and we look forward to returning.

The natural camaraderie of the food your group was so refreshing. Having great food and nice walking tour made the event really special.

Attended the knife skills and the salads classes. Learned a ton and ate a ton. Attend with friend or your main squeeze. Secondary squeeze would be fine too! I came solo and totally fit in. Really good experience and used my new learned skills immediately at home. The instructors were super friendly.

I took my niece as a birthday gift. It was fun and informational. It is a bit too expensive for the time and information we received. However, we had a great time together and that was our objective.

I used to regularly take NIA classes a few years ago and then moved to a place where there are no NIA classes available. I jumped at the chance to take a class while in Portland, and am so happy I did. Beautiful studio and really nice people!

We did the Coastal Exploration tour, with stops at a marina, seaweed farm, and oyster company, among others. This was an amazing tour, and we particularly enjoyed the opportunity to go crabbing - something I had never done before. All of the businesses we visited were clearly passionate about their work, and took great pride in showing us what they do. Nic was a fantastic guide, and full of fun information and anecdotes, and great recommendations of other places to visit. I would highly recommend this to anyone visiting the Oregon coast.

Just finished my fourth visit to The Loaded Brush for a step-by-step painting class. The instructor gave a clear, well-paced demonstration with suggestions on how to avoid typical painting pitfalls as well as how to make the paintings our own. If desired, class participants may bring their own snacks and beverage. Wine and beer are also available for purchase. The atmosphere is relaxed and nonjudgmental and soon the class group becomes a friendly, chatting group of artists. Compared to other step-by-step painting classes I have taken, The Loaded Brush provides a superior learning and painting experience. Each participant has plenty of room to work, supplies are close at hand, the room size, shape and lighting make it easy to see the demonstration as well as one's own painting. For a laid back, professional and welcoming experience in a step-by-step painting class, pick The Loaded Brush!

My friend and I came here on a Friday afternoon without reservations and they had space for us. The staff was super helpful in getting us set up and checking in on us because we had lots of questions. The best part is that you can do whatever you want and use whatever you need. I made a string art map and the directions said it was a 3-4 hour project and it took me 3.5. This is because you start with planks of wood, screw them together, paint to the color of your choosing and then trace your pattern, add nails and then string. It’s a fun atmosphere but my friend and I were very relaxed and loved it! I can’t wait to go back.
