#2 of 4 Nature & Parks in Bristol
Steele Creek has terrific hiking and biking trails, a lake, a splash pad for kids, paddle boats, a train, play areas, covered picnic areas, and a Nature Center, just to name a few.
There is much to do at Steele Creek...paddle boats, golf, picnic, play ball, fishing, bicycling, etc. Walking trail is easy, fun and about 2 miles long from Steele Creek Trail to Rooster Front Park.

I enjoy every part of the lake from swimming fishing boat riding, the people, picnicking, camping, marvelous sunsets and the calming of mother nature.
The TVA maintained park there is a wonderful place for hiking, birding, fishing, and enjoying a picnic.
Sugar Hollow Park Bristol, VA 9.2 km away

It offers very nice softball fields, camping facilities, beautiful picnic area with shelters, and a nice nature walk and many other trails.
When the grandkids visit us in Johnson City (JC), we always schedule a trip to Bristol for play time at Sugar Hollow Park.
