What travellers are saying
- Alexandra GRome, Italy386 contributionsThe castle is small but really beautiful. Tiny streets with flowers, little cafe inside. Feels like going back in time. Beautiful !Written 1 August 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Aussies11Montelparo, Italy4,555 contributionsThe lady at the info point reception desk over the weekends is lovely; she took us on quick tour of both floors plus the library on the floor underneath. The tour included works by Bruno Bruni of Arcevia, including the work purchased by Celentano and the frescoes describing St. Francis' life. Apart from this, she kindly described other places to visit in this hilltop town and mentioned a few places for dining which on that day were all busy due to the Polenta Festival. This tourist info point is located inside the San Francesco cultural centre and you walk around the cloister to get to the door.
The local artist Bruno Bruni, who is now elderly, left many of his artworks at this centre and we enjoyed viewing them.Written 10 April 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - M&M8 contributionsThe antipasti menu is top, Be sure to book in advance as people come from far and wide. international audience.Written 21 April 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- An Yakla10 contributionsAvacelli is from another world altogether. The little town with views as far as the eye can see, the quaint houses and the ancient church dating back hundreds of years are sublime.Written 25 July 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
