The museum has been laid out very well with lots of artefacts from the tragedy. You proceed downwards with various displays but the lowest section is the saddest, where you see videos and hear the voices of the people who perished

Must see. Plan on spending at least one day though you could go every day of the year and not exhaust it’s treasures

A beautiful place to visit. Enjoyed seeing more of it in a shorter time by going by horse and buggy.

Me and my partner went up the rock on the sunset entry and what an amazing time we had! Fantastic views all around the top, with a mixture of indoor and outdoor viewing points! Another must have on New York!

We booked online to get an 11am ferry to go across to Liberty Island. We arrived about 30 minutes before to find a HUGE queue that wrapped around the park to get to the ferry, twice! We stood in this line for 90 minutes before getting to the security check point which has X-rays and scanners, like an airport.

The ferry ride is fast and you get some lovely views of New York as you go across. The statue is colossal! I never realised how much so. We were unable to get a ticket to go up to the outer deck so made do with walking around the base and getting some lovely pictures. The gift shop has a nice selection but at not nice prices.

It was a lovely sunny day and my hubby, who is folically challenged, got sunburn on his head as we didn't think to take his hat - be warned!

It was great to see this NY icon close up and worth the journey and I guess, the queue!

After passing the innumerable street vendors peddling souvenirs, you finally access the walkable passageway in the center lane of the bridge. You can see the cars below you left and right. The walkway is made of planks of wood, easy on your feet. Comfortable shoes are a must. There are few resting benches along the way. It is windy up there and there is no shade.
Lovely views of the surrounding sights, a memorable and historic walk you should not miss.

Just as impressive from the waterway ferry as from the sky in a plane or a high rise lookout point. A breathtaking sight indeed!

Fun walk above the city and with little shops and things to look at along with way. The herb and other gardens are very nice.

We had gone to the Edge (for a similar admission fee) the day before because my daughters (local residents) have never been there. Had I known better, I would have gone to One World Observatory and skipped the Edge. Why? The observatory offers a 360 degree view, a better exhibit on the way to the observation deck, a nice tourist orientation presentation at the deck, and, if you wish, a nicer cafe. You can spend time, drink coffee, look again, etc. We had the NY Sightseeing Pass, and we did not have to wait to exchange it for a ticket. My daughter, who is a local, tried to buy a ticket at the last minute, but decided against it when we found the wait to get in would have been at least an hour. Advice: plan your visit in advance; so worth it.

huge, cavernous space. Great to get out of the hot sun and watch the busy travelers go back and forth.

A beautiful collection of medieval art with gorgeous views overlooking the Hudson river. Located on top of a hill. Must-sees include the unicorn tapestries.

Another must see area of NCY. Just take a walk through and look up! Skating rink was closed but we could have gone into the building to the viewing point but had done a few others already. Worth a visit - even it its just to go to Tiffany's! ;)

Never been to RCMH before. I loved it. The inside of the building was a iconic and beautiful as the outside. Went in April to see Olivia Rodrigo there and what a show!
