- Dan086London, UK55 contributionsBest dive bar ever. Cheap as chips, great juke box, good people, free hot dogs. Been to NY many times, been to many bars and this is hands down, my favourite!Written 9 June 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- HughSouth Ozone Park, NY1,126 contributionsMcSorleys is a must - sawdust on the floor, a taste of old NY with great homemade brews. When in hte Lower East Side don't pass it byWritten 27 June 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.

- alis 87Aprilia, Italy8 contributionsThis place is so cool! I have always wanted to visit it. Prices are crazy but if you want to enjoy the Village, you cannot go to the Cafe Wha. My experience has been awesome, except for the price of 3 beers: 40💰!Written 25 October 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Stuart BNew York City, NY1 contributionThis Restaurant has permanently closed as of July 2020, due to Covid-19 situation in NYC. Cannot survive without Theater & Tourist trade. We have been loyal customers for over 20 years. Hate to say goodbye.Written 29 July 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Adrienne CNew York City, NY112 contributionsThe Shanghai margarita cocktail was great, but the cigar odor was absolutely overpowering. There was only one man smoking on the other side of the room (and it’s a pretty large area with high ceilings) and we could hardly breathe. Granted this is a cigar club, but we were only able to stay for one drink because it was so strong.Written 11 June 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- ADXBSParis, France884 contributionsCool sports bar just off Times Square ... went for a quick bite on a Sunday afternoon and catching part of a game. Quick friendly service and their beef fajita is very tasty and well portioned.Written 13 January 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- DJ vDeventer, The Netherlands34 contributionsWe really enjoyed the comedy club. We booked 2 seats at a table which could sit 4. Not knowing how small those tables would actually be. So once we got there we felt it to be awkward to share such a small table with people we don't know (but that's personal). However it was no problem to be seated at a different table which was free for just the two of us.
For 25 bucks, you get 1 MC and 4 comedians. We loved the MC and comedians 3,1,2 (in that order). Bit of a shame we didn't liked the closing act soo much, but that's just personal taste (that and her English was the most difficult to understand for us non-native speakers)
All in all we had a blast and would really recommend going to this club if you're in town.Written 29 June 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - alcokaMilwaukee, WI86 contributionsTried to hit up a rooftop type bar each night of our visit. Made reservations...had to check in at the first floor bar to be given a card to get past the elevator security. We were seated immediately at a table with two couches for the two of us. Lots of room. Service was slow...luckily we weren't in a hurry. But it took a long time to get a waitress...and then a long time to get our drinks. And it wasn't crowded. We only stayed for one drink. Would have stayed for a second if it didn't take so long.
The place was much smaller than I anticipated, and very low key.
Yes, drinks are pricey. But it's NY. A great Cosmo!
A good stop if you want a sky bar experience. Its just not one of the best I would hope.Written 17 November 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - Paul Sharkey24 contributionsWell where do I start? My partner and I visited the Campbell whilst on holiday in NYC. Having researched the bar I was very much looking forward to visiting and sampling the alcoholic delights kept within.
Tucked away in the amazing Grand Central is the bar, a throwback to the roaring 20s without the usual gimmicks of other pretenders.
Cocktail selection is typical of the era and I would recommend the Old Fashioned if you love a boozy tipple that packs a punch.
Only downside was that there was no live singer or jazz band playing and seating capacity is limited.Written 8 December 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - Fletch1946Fair Haven, NJ953 contributionsThree of us had after dinner cocktails/wine at the Top of the Strand. The roof was open and the view of the lighted up Empire State Building was spectacular. The cocktails were very good, although we did not notice anything special due to their being put into a sou vide heated water bath for one hour. Service was lovely.Written 17 June 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Alejandra VSanto Domingo, Dominican Republic2 contributionsThis is the kind of place that lets me be at peace with NYC. It is an honest spot, great food (we ate fish and chips and hamburgers,t he meat was amazing and the french fries are made from scratch), reasonable prices, has its history (150 old beautiful bar) and the waiter and manager were very friendly. If you are around this area this is the place to go for a drink, lunch or dinner.Written 25 February 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- SallyK5Stockport, UK90 contributionsWe happened upon this bar whilst walking around near 5th Avenue looking for a spot of 'no fuss' lunch. The bar had a decent Vegetarian/Vegan offering and as non red meat eating people this was great. The Vegetarian burger was really good, the service was good and the pricing very reasonable - would recommendWritten 16 February 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- DACtravelerNew York, New York3 contributionsThe whole experience is incredible! You have to see a show here. It is a unique theatrical experience from the moment you check-in for the night. The food was delish, the service was great and the show was incredible! There are sooooooo many talent people in that show! I felt like I was in a super exclusive club and got a real 70's disco vibe, but way cooler. If you don't experience this you will regret it.Written 7 March 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
