It was interesting and emotional trip during a few hours. I thought that about this tragedy we all knew a lot, but during those hours, we got to know and feel much more.

The MET has one of the most extensive collections of art in the world. It's possible to spend an entire day here, get hopelessly lost, and still see only a small fraction of the permanent collections. It's picturesque, has a large variety of art (and even some furniture), and features a unique fashion section tying in the theme of the year's MET gala. Tickets for those local are pay as you wish, lines can get very long, but it is one of the must-vists if you come to NYC.

Mr. Olmstead's landscape architecture does not disappoint, and the depth and scope of this natural sanctuary is a relief from the chaos and overstimulation of the city, while at the same time offering plenty of street art, entertainment, and exercise opportunities for those who need some level of stimulation.

My GF and 11 yo daughter were not excited about going, but I thought it would be fun. We made a reservation at about 9 pm for a 10pm entrance. It’s quite expensive, but there is a nice museum leading to the elevator to get to the top. I’ve been here before, but only in the day time. The night has a special feel, with all the lights of NYC

Such a wonderful view of Lady Liberty in the New York Harbor. We were on a cruise ship headed for Bermuda and got a up close view. It was a magic moment.

The skyline was amazing. We done a day time trip to the Top of the Rock and that gave a wonderful view of all the main buildings and sites. Also a night time trip up the Empire State Building which was great to see all the coloured lights etc. I would recommend both trips.

Staggeringly beautiful building - all marble and stone. We bought a metro weekly ticket and had the thrill of riding the underground trains but to suddenly appear in this station took our breath away. Awesome.

The MET Cloisters has an extensive collection of medieval works of art. It's a truly immersive space to be in - there's even a gardening area where you can see what plants were referenced in art works. The guides are very knowledgeable and give great guided tours, and you can see the famous unicorn tapestries.

It could be a bit tricky to find a ticket office for access to the Top of the Rock. When you go down staircase and at the end of it, you should turn left , not right as security guards advise you at the entrance. Door to the ticket office will be a few feet away from staircase on the opposite side of hallway. Rest of experience was amazing. Must see while in NYC.

Fantastic, this was a once in a lifetime trip and the RCMH did not disappoint. Family and myself were very delighted to see the inside of this historic building and to see
the dancers and hear the music inside this famed building. Loved it.

Our family of 5 took a weekday 9am ferry recently (tickets in advance, best time to go!!) and the journey was very easy to both Statue of Liberty and then to Ellis. You only need max 30 minutes at Ellis unless tracing family history (which we didn't have), but if first trip to NYC it's a must visit/esp if love history! We had a private guide which made it even better (see review).

I always wanted to see if it looks as fantastic like we see on television. It more impressive in local than on TV.
    I really recommend the visit.

I title this as one of three must see visual experiences at Hudson Yards. This piece of architectural art is really eye catching. You can view it from inside Hudson Yards Shopping Center AND please walk outside and take in the grandness of this work.

You can walk around it, inside it on the ground level, etc. There are many, many angles to take your photos.

The only disappointment is that when it first opened, you were able to actually climb up and down the vessel using staircases. That ended with the tragic suicide jumps by one or two persons.

Still, it is certainly a must see experience while you are visiting this relatively new complex.

If there is a store you can think of, chances are Fifth Avenue has one!

A great stroll with plenty of opportunity to see some of the iconic brands featured in NYC. Always a bit dangerous when carrying a credit card but good fun none the less!
