Great experience! We enjoyed playing the online game . I enjoyed these puzzles because they were innovative and challenging. The interface worked well and we were able to easily join two other players in different locations. I highly recommend it

Nintendo New York provides a fun and exciting place to go if you are a novice or hard core Nintendo fan. They sell items that you could only find on the official Nintendo website. They have displays of plenty and statues to awe you. Experience was underwhelming though. Would recommend none the less.

While not enormous, the place certainly is a lot of fun. At a flat rate, you get to play games from different eras of pinball, and the machines are maintained quite well. The place is a little hot, so beware of heavy clothing.

First point to clarify: there is no ice in it at the moment and it has morphed into a roller-skating rink.

Second point to clarify is that we didn't do any form of skating there.

However, it is definitely worth a look at the place and, if you have the time, you may want to have a sit down and watch other people being energetic. I find it cheers me up no end.

The golden statue overseeing proceedings is monumentally proportioned.

All in all, a great place to visit and/or lose some calories at.

The Central Park carousel is a visually attractive feature but it’s nothing out of the ordinary. The kids obviously enjoy it.

I almost made this a three star review, but chose to go with four stars after my interaction with the staff and hearing more about their mission.

I expected a bit of a larger, more open space where I could cuddle with cats (with their consent of course). But this space was quite a bit smaller, and there were around 10 people in the space, all of them vying for the attention of a few cats. It was crowded and busy for my personal taste.

That’s not their fault. And the employees told me weekdays are much less hectic (I’m just not usually in the city on weekdays).

All of the employees are super nice, and you can tell this place prioritizes feline well-being above all else. They explained to me that their cats come from a cat rescue in Bowling Green, KY, which funnily enough, I live near. They told me they have almost a complete turnover of cats every two weeks. They have very careful adoption procedures in place to ensure the best placement for the cats.

Please note weekends are reservation only, weekdays it’s recommended, but not required. And there are rules. Vaccination, no shoes, don’t pick the cats up, don’t wake the cats up, etc.

This wasn’t my style, but I respect their mission and the employees are great reps for the organization.

A Virtual Reality Arcade, a dozen or so 7 year old kids and two hours of INSANE FUN!!!

Mysun has been practicing his archery with the online VR game Quiver and was excited to show off his skills to his class mates! So we got nearly half of his classroom together and invited them all out for some futuristic fun!!

I was so impressed with the staff and their ability to manage and wrangle more than a dozen kids and keep them all happy.

I wanted to introduce VR to Mysun with hopes to inspire interest in programming, and I’m really happy we found this place!

Nice place to visit adoptable cats. Didn’t try the cafe. There were about 12 people total for the hour we were there. Three floors with fun play/hide/escape contraptions for the cats to play in/around. Most were sleeping but a few were playful with us humans and each other. All were clean and seem well looked after. Not a bad place for a cat to wait for their new home 😻.

We visited for a quick hour before a matinee. The kids loved earning tickets more than the video games, and then spending time picking out prizes on the end. A word to the wise: if your destination is a Broadway show after visiting here, you won’t be allowed in with your shopping bag full of prizes. We had to go back to our hotel to drop things off before returning here.

Frames, sibling to the surprisingly fun and pleasant bar in the upstairs bowling alley, is on street level at 9th Ave and 43rd. Happy Hour offered reasonable prices, available tables and a quiet, calm atmosphere. My friend and I never felt pressured to order excessively or leave before we were done catching up. The location is very convenient and it is neither seedy nor intimidatingly posh — just a nice, comfy local spot.

wonderful exhibit highlighting the Star Wars movies, with sights and sounds. I imagine their other exhibits are also as exciting and engaging?

My daughter always enjoy skating there. It's a fun place, with a great view and a good variety of shopping, coffee and food available. We can go inside the building to warm up and relax while she enjoys the rink. We always come back.

After walking the High Line we popped into the Break Bar and Wrecking Club for a well deserved tincture

The barmaid wanted us to sign the disclaimer to smash our glasses

We explained we just wanted a dink and not to do the smashing

She was fine with that and the Break Bar Ale on draught was good

The girls had cocktails that were good and strong

We had a snack of Chicken Bites that were tasty

    Interesting bar to visit!
