The hidden heart of Nee York City! With plenty to keep you busy for atleast a couple of days it is very easy to lose yourself among the tall buildings in lower Manhattan. Thankfully not as touristy as midtown meaning you can feel a lot more at ease when taking photos that iron man isn’t going to jump in the back of them!

Between the parks, statues, memorials or even just some truly amazing eateries there is definitely something for everyone!

Some things we enjoyed, was that we tried the different ice creams. My husband loved the vegan vanilla, going into all the different fun rooms, making up words on the wall. Playing in the sprinkle pool!

We were able to take our time and enjoy the whole experience as a family because we weren't rushed.the staff was really nice I enjoyed all of the free little treats along the way they even had a cool little gift shop in the end. I would say the best part was the fact that you were able to take pictures in each room and they send them to you for free.

The museum has an amazing collection of firefighting history and memorabilia. They do a great job of letting you just enjoy the exhibits at your pace and not a fast pace tour by everything. The staff was friendly and helpful and I enjoyed the museum.

Thousands upon thousands lined the streets to watch thousands of costumed locals and visitors parade through the Village. There were floats. There were bands. There were costumes that left little to the imagination and some that raised far too many questions. You need to get there EARLY if you want to be able to see, and there's no place to rest your tired feet.

Both exhibitions they have currently, the history of AAPI hate and the permanent exhibit, are fantastic. I was nearly moved to tears by the AAPI Hate. The permanent exhibit was enlightening, even for someone like me who generally has a good grasp on Chinese history in America.

Great venue for concert. Good food and great host. Don't want to tarnish the good servers but ours was the worst I ever had. Non existent for most of the night , not only to us but everyone in our area. Thanks to the other young servers that had to cover for ours.

The children's museum is a very nice place.
Gives the children a clever point of view about the arts.

I try to understand, feel or imagine contemporary art, but much of it leaves me empty. NY Earth Room is an educational experience in diversity. Read the reviews, then see for yourself the exact same simple installation. Are your views the same as others? Are yours different? It will take you as little as 3 minutes or as much as 15 if you enjoy it. It is in the heart of Soho, thus does not take you out of your way. Be sure to read the opening hours. It is free. Revel in the profusion of differing perspectives.

Loved this area. Very vibrant and up and coming. Can still see the area is a bit grimy but we liked the atmosphere and felt very safe and comfortable.

Such a peaceful street. The views of the river are lovely and perfect for photo opportunities. We love to drive by there.

As a was walking down Canal Street observing how big Chinatown has gotten and how tiny little Italy still stands I saw this Marketplace with a great environment. We are talking of a indoor walk around marketplace with different selections of foods and treats.

I went to the Leslie-Lohman Museum for the second half of the "Art After Stonewall" exhibition that they shared with the Grey Gallery at NYU. It is more of a gallery space than a true museum but still they did a nice job mounting the exhibition.

The art is mostly from the 70's and early 80's and deals with the sexual revolution and the AIDS crisis. There was a lot of controversial Lesbian art in the exhibition that I would not recommend to small kids unless they have a Gay parent who can explain it to them.

Outside that, I think that the curators did a nice job of continuing the exhibit and I liked a lot of Keith Waring art. It is nice because you can see the whole gallery in about an hour and a half.

I took my adult daughter for a fun afternoon at the Sloomoo Institute. We had a blast. It’s definitely for ALL AGES!! We loved playing with the slime, the fragrances (omg kitten fur anyone?!!) We had the slime slungshot at us, we were actually slimed, it was warm! The asmr room was a respite from the noise and we had so much fun making our own slimes.
We left and couldn’t wait to get home to play with our own slime. Apparently they are opening an institute in Atlanta? Yay!
