The Farmer's Market was lit. I really dug it, even though I didn't need to buy a bunch of fresh produce I did. LOL. The instagram photos were worth it...

Most weekends during the summer, the Santa Fe Society of Artists sets up some tents in the parking lot adjacent to the First National Bank. Great artwork at reasonable prices. Other members of the Society can be found next to the St. Francis Cathedral.

Nice selection of chiles and spices and local eggs/meat. Also a lot of local artists but I didn't look closely at them because that wasn't my focus.

First, this market ISN’T in Santa Fe. It’s just outside of the city limits in a little casino town. Not far, but just sayin.

Second—we almost left without walking around. It was almost deserted. At most, there were 12-15 vendors, spread out over several aisles.

Third, and the market’s saving grace — amazing prices for some simply gorgeous jewelry. Make sure you stop
By the Gaudy Lady’s booth. A little pricey, but some stunning pieces and the owner is an absolute sweetheart. Do not miss her!

Also, amazing spices at one of the booths- smelled heavenly and our son bought some at a very reasonable price.

Other jewelry vendors carried pieces less unique, but still lovely and at great prices.

Definitely not a day or even 1/2 day excursion, but with Christmas on the horizon, I suspect the missing vendors will show up and there will be more offerings.

We were also there on a Sunday which happened to coincide with the last day of the Albuquerque hot air balloon races.. perhaps that affected the attendance of both vendors and patrons.

A really large, interesting inventory and nice, helpful people. Prices are not carry and there is so much stuff to look at. People let you look around, they are helpful without being pushy.
