My boyfriend and I did this hike in a couple of hours. It was breathtakingly stunning there. We decided to go on our own instead of paying for a guided tour and we were happy with our decision. Not having a tour guide allowed us to walk the path at our own pace and swim when we wanted to. The trail map is very easy to follow. If you are coming to see wildlife then I would recommend paying for a guided tour. We did see some birds, an anteater, butterflies and frogs but it can be hard to spot them. The hanging bridges were the coolest part. They felt safe but also got my adrenaline going and had spectacular views into the park. If you’re afraid of heights and want to avoid the bridges, that is an option too. Overall, we loved our time spent hiking in the Rainmaker Park and recommend everyone to experience it while in the area!

One of the most beautiful places I’ve ever been. Miles of remote, gorgeous beach with barely a soul on it. Palm tree & thatch huts for shade.

We stayed on this beach in July 2021 and loved our stay. Boogie boarding is easy and so fun mornings and afternoons. The waves vary by the weather and tides, but we could always find a wave to ride in. My grandchildren, son, and myself spent hours boogieboarding. It's shallow a long ways out, so you can walk out and take a long wave in. Not a rock around, but watch out for drifting logs occasionally. Black sand!

We booked this ATV tour through our resort and WOW! We had the best time. Memo was our guide and we cannot say enough good things. I started a little shaky on the ATV and Memo was patient and informative. Once I got more comfortable he took us all on an beautiful ride through the jungle. The views were spectacular! We swam in a crystal clear refreshing waterfall pool, went up and over hills, through muddy paths, and ended with a breath taking view of the hillside. It was exhilarating and somehow peaceful. After the tour, we went for Casado at a nearby restaurant on our drive back to our hotel. We highly recommend this tour and Memo!!
