What a lovely highway to drive on but only during the day time. Ensure you minimize driving at night as it is very challenging (the last bit down into the Dead Sea was done at night, and wow the difficulty).

Ensure you know how to move the rental car into low gear and up/down shift between first and second gear. The scenic spots are phenomenal and ensure you allot a full day, sunrise to sunset, if you plan to do it all in one day.

The site is interesting with Roman ruins. It is still in progress of being maintained, but it is nice to walk around there is a splendid view on Tiberia lake and neighbouring countries, especially at sunset

Arabela Mall is a small, but clean mall. If you want to find a little coffee shop or just shop around a little, Arabela is a great place to stop by. Downstairs is CTown which is my favorite for buying groceries.
Children would enjoy the games upstairs.

Ottoman forces built this as their castle of the North. Later it was turned into a jail for the Jordanian kingdom until about 25 years ago when it was changed into a museum. The museum is filled with local artifacts from the local villages making it more meaningful if you want to learn about the North.
A surprising treasure was the lovely display of mosaics from churches from years past.

If you’re planning to visit, make sure you also take in the Clock Tower Market a tradition Middle Eastern fruit and vegetable market.
