    Excellent tour, with an excellent guide.
    We booked the ‘Penang : Flexible 6-hour Highlights’ tour. Our guide EnSeong contacted us the day before with an extensive list of possible sights in Panang, including indicative times of how long each visit might take. He suggested we could either choose or he could advise us when we met. On the morning of the tour he confirmed where he would be, holding a board with our name and sent a photo of himself so we would know what he looked like.
    Throughout the day he couldn’t have been more helpful or informative. My wife has limited mobility, finding walking any distance difficult, EnSeong always parked as close as possible to sights and was always considerate of our needs. As well as visiting the chosen attractions, he answered any questions we had (his English was excellent) and was happy to stop if we saw something of interest en-route.
    I would thoroughly recommend EnSeong as a guide, we had a wonderful informative day in Penang.

    Georgetown food tour
    Great tour with our guide, Ron, introducing us to the local cuisine, as well as to the history of Penang. We tried food from three different cultures, Malay, Chinese and Indian. All of it delicious! We finished the tour in a local bar where we enjoyed some of the local rice wine, which reminded me of a dry sherry, both in taste and alcohol strength. As a born and bred native of Penang, as well as an ex teacher, Ron had plenty stories to tell and so kept us entertained throughout the tour. Recommended!

    Very interesting well paced tour!
    Highly recommend! The guide make the country side and it's goings on very interesting, he is very knowledgeable. Tour was well paced with breaks and stops and also nice bits of biking

    Amazing Penang Lunch Food tour
    Had a fantastic lunch tour with Jeremy who was very knowledgeable and keen to share the history and stories of Penang. Not only did we visit some great places welearnt so much about the history of Penang, not just the food. The tour had a leisurely pace and was a great way to spend a few hours. A must do for anyone visiting Penang.

    Great Day in Penang
    From the beginning in meeting Lester, we knew we would have a great day with him. He was very knowledgeable, took pictures of us in all of the sites and was very hospitable. He made sure we were able to see everything we wanted to see and with our original list of sites plus his recommendations, it was a great day of touring Penang. We highly recommend Lester and company.

    A most enjoyable evening in good company
    King our guide was very knowledgeable about George Town and the food it offers and imparted this knowledge with passion and enthusiasm. We walked to four different food outlets between which we were shown and had explained to us, the architecture, the cultural influences and the history.
    King was extremely well organised, bringing with him umbrellas, spare cutlery, tissues and wet wipes, which were all necessary. He also organised the trip so that the most flavoursome food was at our final stop, so as not to dull our taste buds when trying the more delicately flavoured ones

    Best Food Tour We've Ever Been On
    My husband and I are total foodies. We've been on a few dozen food tours across three continents. And this was hands down the best one we've ever experienced. Danny was an absolutely incredible guide, telling us the fascinating history of George Town while taking us through the city. And the food . . . I'm still dreaming about so much of the food. It honestly breaks my heart that I live on the other side of the world, because I've been craving several of the foods we tried since our tour.

    Highlight of our trip to Malaysia
    After spending a month in SE Asia, I have to say this cycle tour was a highlight of the trip. All of the glowing reviews are well deserved. We were picked up at our Georgetown hotel and transported with one other couple to the starting point of the ride in the SW part of Penang island. Princilia and SJ made sure our bikes were fitted properly, and they were in excellent condition and comfortable to ride. The ride through hamlets, agricultural and fishing areas, and palm fields was at an easy pace peppered with Princilia's vast knowledge of the area. We stopped often to speak to locals and try our hand at some of their work. Coffee and lunch breaks were great. The photos taken by the guides and sent to us after the ride were beautiful and much appreciated. I highly recommend taking a bike tour with Matahari. Thanks Princilia and SJ for a perfect day!

    Grew at day out
    Very helpful driver and lovely staff at fruit farm. Very interesting and staff were so generous of their time having had so few visitors since the pandemic.

    Great learning experience. Fun too!
    Recommend this trip for the authenticity and Samuel’s knowledge. Started with a prompt hotel pick up and travel to local market, which was an experience in itself.

    We were given a huge list to chose from the day before the experience and chose our three dishes. Samuel bought the ingredients and we then proceeded to cook all three and learn about Umami and MSG along the way.

    The food was excellent and it was great to meet Samuel’s family too.

    We’ll worth it and recommended!

    Fantastic Day with Soraya
    Even though we have travelled to Penang numerous times over the years we learnt so much on this tour with the delightful Soraya.

    As a Penang local and licenced Tour Guide, Soraya gave us great insights into Penang's fascinating history, multi-culture, architecture and best of all - food!

    Over the course of the tour walking through George Town she fed us so much that we were bursting. Everything was delicious and her choices of meals to showcase Penang's diverse food culture were perfect.

    Soraya was interesting and engaging and font of information about Penang. She showed us so many sights and points of interest, well beyond what we expected.

    We had a great day and would not hesitate to recommend this tour.

    Great heritage bike ride
    Comfortable bikes with appropriate equipment.
    Our tour guide was very friendly and accommodating.
    His knowledge of Penang helped make history come to live, we learnt so much in a matter of hours.
    Breakfast and lunch stop authentic and delicious.
    Overall an outstanding experience and good value for money.
