Beautiful and intricate nonya historical exhibits on display. 30 minute guided tour in English was informational. You will need a good 1 hour at least to have a leisurely visit, feast for the eyes. Not to be missed.

Perhaps I came in the late afternoon, therefore not many tourists inside the destination. The location of this place needs to walk-in from the main street. Then you will encounter a ticket booth to sell ticket. After buying the ticket, you will get through the security guard and turn into the location of the temple-like building. That building is the center location of Khoo Kongsi. The ground floor is the exhibit and upper floor is a clan shrine.

The figures and service of Wonderfood musuem are inpressive. The two level musuem is full of diffent large scale food figures and miniature life figures. Since I visited during weekdays , there is no problem taking photo with minimum crowd. Staffs are friendly and explain some of the details on those food figures history.

Entrance fee is rm 20 per adult. Worth paying for the price since the musuem is interesting.

A fantastic and little-known highlight of Penang. Hidden away on the upper level of Komtar mall. We had a free tour guide who was expert and passionate. Great thing to do in the heat of the day. Plenty of interactive experiences and the chance to play some of the instruments and work the radio desk. Recommended for families and adults interested in the origins of modern music. Plenty of stories and history of how music played a big part in people’s lives up to the 1970’s. Amazing to see so much memorabilia collected and now preserved from so many people from the last 150 years and to hear that some, now in their 80’s continue to be involved and even perform.

Lots of cool cameras, whole range of history here. Worth a short hour or long 45 minutes walking through.

The best place for teenagers and students. It was an amazing place to visit. It gave lot of information about the new technology and various scientific facts. I have visited it. This science museum will increase your curiosity to the next level. Their technology are amazing. It have information such as the life tech, robotics and information technology.

This a fascinating and beautiful house. It is worth visiting for that reason alone, even if you have little interest in Sun Yat Sen - though the historical detail on his time in Penang was also interesting.

Every Sunday from 11 o'clock the old bus depot near Komtar hosts a craft and food market popular with tourists and locals. Many are selling selfmade artefacts, jewellery, candles, paintings and then there is the guy with a collection of incredible live insects hiding among leafs in terrariums. A large selection of Asian dishes is cooked on the premises by eager home chefs.

The artwork pieces include sculptures and illusion paintings. All the pieces featured at the museum are locally made, which is one of the unique aspects that Penang 3D Trick Art Museum is proud to share. The price is affordable. The staff are very friendly and helpful.

All the animals in this educational and interesting exhibition had encountered an accidental death, the big tapir skeleton was a roadkill. The specimens are on loan from Kuala Lumpur till March 2023. Downstairs another gallery shows the permanent collection with decades of modern works by local artists. Both exhibitions are free to enter in the 1970's building with a gated court yard next to the yellow Town Hall.

While some of the reviewers have complained about the price, I think this was a unique experience. It was informative about ghosts from different cultures. Definitely different from your usual museums.

We came across this wonderful attraction by accident as we wandered through George Town. It’s open daily from 10am to 6pm and admission for adults is RM10.
The curator is very helpful and knowledgeable and is on hand to answer any queries. There is a very helpful multi language leaflet.
The exhibits are spread across three floors and feature batik artists from several countries with many by the master artist Mr Tang.
There are nearly 100 original batik paintings exhibited with over 30 artists represented. The colours, forms and shapes are indeed amazing and it’s well worth taking time studying the paintings. The premises are air conditioned and toilets are available.
Well worth visiting and highly recommended.
