Love this Mansion. Bring you back to the old days of how does these people live in such detailing life! Strong influence from Chinese’s tradition. From their head to toes, from the living room to bed, everything is an eyes opening for us!
    Truly “Crazy Rich Asian” 😂

Thank you our Guide, Ms May for such an informative journey in the mansion (Mandarin speaking tour) Awesome!

This is my first time to Habitat Penang Hill. It is absolutely amazing. We were both absolutely amazed with the views and soaking in the surrounding nature. The staff from the ticketing counter were all super friendly too and it just made the visit all that much better.

A beautiful garden overlooking the sea. We did a self guided tour that was very informative. This beauty tucked away makes you feel like it is a secret garden with a beautiful pond, rare plant species and birds chirping.

Make sure to apply mosquito repellent properly, that is provided at the ticket counter.

Came to Penang on holiday and stayed at Batu Ferringhi. While it was pretty crowded over the weekend, there was always a spot to put your things down and join in the fun on playing on the sand or jumping into the sea - the water was very warm and lovely. There is plenty of paid water sport activities to do however we did not participate in any of them and just enjoyed the sun and surf. Most pleasant and the beach was the best part of the holiday. Would like to come back and spend more days at Batu Ferringhi Beach.

The visit was interesting to see the views over Georgetown and Butterworth, Avoid the run-down Belleview hotel as the restaurant was closed and would not even serve us a drink.

This street are full of shop selling tourist sourvenir, drinks and food. but dont let that distract you from appreciating the history behind this street. This street is attributed to the Armenian Family that contributed to the development of george town including E&O hotel that was part of the heritage. at the end of this street there was Two famous street art ( 1 bicycle and another one a boy trying to reach for a fruit which sadly gave way to development).

This is our third time here, prior to this the kids were toddlers and tweens. The place was previously just a butterfly farm. Alot of improvements after it was rebranded to Entopia. More insects and reptiles was on display with different types of “worlds” were made as part of the journey through the park.

They also had friendly staff, Remy was exceptionally cool & simply awesome! He was fun and gave out alot of interesting facts to my teens. He managed to keep my teens interested by letting them touch a scorpion and spider web. He even took the time to explain in detail on the other insects and reptiles that he thought would interest us.

The only set back is that, the place didn’t have anymore staff like Remy, the rest of the park left us with just simple facts on the information board to keep us interested.

We were not sure what we would find when we went off to these gardens. But - happily - we were very pleasantly surprised. Well laid out, well kept, the plants and tress are well labelled. A very enjoyable stroll through a set of gardens with a lot of variety and different views to enjoy.
Only problem is that some of the plant house cannot be entered at the moment because of Covid.
One complaint - the Japanese garden needs a lot of work - it is quite scruffy/untidy.
But - we had a good visit and would put it on out agenda to go again when next in Penang.

Children will love it but it is also good for families of all ages. Worth a visit. Much to do and see - Science Center, kids' playland, Dinosaur museum, an aquarium, car bumper ride, skywalk, 360 degree rootop view (60th? floor) of Penang skyline. All-day fun pass allows for multiple entries and you can exit the place and return within the same day to enjoy the attractions as long as you have wrist tag intact on your wrist. Food at the Japanese corner is disappointing, rootop cafe/restaurant is unreasonably expensive, in my opinion. There are one Malay restaurant, a chinese restaurant ( reasonably priced), a fast food joint and some other stalls offering light bites.

Amazing experience up on the rooftop of Komtar Tower (232meters high) and perching on a little nook is the Rainbow Skywalk.....access to the top is a 2 time change of elevators and the entry fee is Ringgit Malaysia 68 for adult. The observatory is best accessed just before sunset and stay on late into the night 10pm for many vistas and panarama of the Georgetown fast growing city of skyskrapers.
There is a well maintained dinning restaurant on the top giving diners an unforgetable aerial view of the city.
If not for the steep entry fee, I would have given the rating of 5 stars.
I have attached 2 photos I took 3 days ago , one a night aerial panorama of the city and the other the Rainbow Skywalk itself with a glass transparent bottom to give visitors weak knees.

Nice quiet spa off the main road to tanjung tokong. Had Lina as masseuse and she was very attentive. Did spa/massage treatment with my partner and can highly recommend.

Wow! Wow! What a great day trekking on the Island of Jerajak in Penang ….memorable reflection of our hike recorded in pics and video… thanks so much Matahari Tours ….Princilia… SJ , Ishak and your team … l sincerely hope this historical place of such interest and unique beauty will draw more people to come and visit to appreciate our own heritage! The hike was well organized being the first visiting the historical sites … for me .. the quarantine camp, the church, the prison, the bunker, the Russian Memorial … and the hike to the top … Would definitely recommend this hike not only to those that have a medical interest but also those who have an interest in our historical events … do preserve these treasures!

My last massage was in pre-covid era. I have certainly overworked during the pandemic and have been on LMS cream almost daily by the end of it. Right after my exam, i splurged for the complete renewal package, and money was well spent. Scrub was good and very pleasant, my skin felt so soft immediately after. The massage: magical. All the “knots” were gone! My therapist was Joyce, her massage was hypnotizing, i slept all throughout the massage. Highly, highly recommended!

I live in the US, and wanted to send a gift to my grandson in Penang for Christmas in 2019. I came upon Pearly's Home Cooking page, and contacted her to see about enrolling him in a Nonya cooking class. Once the pandemic began, I contacted her about making several of his favorite meals and delivering it to him. That was in 2020, and I then requested the same in 2021. During all of our communications, Pearly has been delightful to work with. She is friendly, flexible and bent over backwards to respond to my special requests. My grandson loved the class, and found the food made by Pearly and delivered to him to be exceptionally tasty. Her rates are very reasonable. I would recommend Pearly's class (once it begins again), and her home catering services without reservation. Her cookbook is also a great resource for anyone wanting to learn to cook Nonya food. She's the best!

We had a fantastic time exploring the streets of Penang. We ate along the way and learned about the history of Penang and It’s food. The culture of the area Is amazing, especially the clan houses. I would definitely book again.
