It was my first time to visit the Chin Swee Station and the Chin Swee Caves Temple, and it was super amazing and memorable!

Majestic and sacred space ….we found this temple and the grounds to be a prayerful place. The temple, the statues and the feel of the location draw you in…..

This is the station to ride the cable car from Genting Premium Outlet and the last destination for a single trip will be at Genting SkyAvenue. Here you can buy the cable car ticket from the ticket kiosks, but buying it online is a way better option because you can go straight to the gate by showing the booking barcode from your phone, no prints needed. Keep in mind that sometime the return ticket is cheaper than 2 one-way tickets.

Prepare for long queue at the weekend, but it usually doesn't take much time for everyone to wait for their turn to hop in the cable car.

The complex was quite huge and connected to Awana SkyWay Station. The scenery was good and the weather was a bit cooler than KL.
There are many transportation options to get here, but the bus from and to KL Sentral can be the best option. You can also consider to rent a car if you are travel with children.
For the deals, make sure you do some research about the things or brands that you aim to buy before coming here because some stores offer good deals, but some offer higher prices than their regular stores do.

Took a cable car from genting premium outlets and entered sky avenue. Lots of stores, indoor theme park and it connects to all the hotels and casinos too. Great place.

Strawberry farm is a great place to visit while on the way to Genting Highlands. Beautiful flowers all colors. Well organized strawberry rows, take a basket and a scissor, pick your strawberries, weigh them and it’s all yours. Pass by the gallery to buy any strawberry pencils, souvenirs, pillows and others. Don’t forget to drink a cup of fresh strawberry.
    Pleasant visit.

A month ago today, Saturday 15.10.22 First World Plaza Hotel in Genting Highlands.

This used to be my haunt as I was one of the building material supplier for this hotel plus other projects up in the highlands back when I was in this industry in my twenties and early thirties.

So much has changed and improved on though lots more brands and outlets as well as eatery. Very good weekend crowd as usual 💛

Countless Indoor rides right in the middle of the mall.. many different types of rides for the young toddlers to the adventure teens.
Tickets are available onsite for choice of rides to take or u can purchase the unlimited full day access for all rides. Certain rides are meant only for young children and some are meant only for taller kids so do take note when buying the ride tickets. U can spend a good 3-4hours depending on queues and choice of rides.

We had a 7 yr and 12-year-old with us. It was lovely, especially Independence Day!! And Alpha Space. We enjoyed lovely and pleasant weather, do carry a jacket and raincoat as slightly chilly if kids are exposed to tropical climate.

Ripley's Adventureland is the part of Genting Resort that are mainly for exhibitions. Perhaps targeted at really young kids or elderlies who couldn't take rides. Maybe not the most exciting part of Genting Resort - so not many people visited. So what it has was:
    - Jungle Gym - indoor soft play playground for toddlers
    - Zombie Outbreak
    - Jurassic Research Centre
    - Ripley's Odditorium of course, was the main exhibition there
    - Healing Touch - a massage place with tanks of fishes eating your feet's dead skin - I think spa-enthusiasts like this

You could visit just one of them, or get combo prices if you chose to visit two or more. We only visited the Jurassic Research Centre - filled with animatronic-alized dinosaurs and life-size fossils. Cool for kiddos who like dinosaurs!
