- AnelazJb211 contributionsAbout 0.5km from the hotel we stayed. As usual many jemaah are old people and a few children following their parents. At 5.40am is great if children can be awake.

Sadly all information counters and the jeti leisure cruise also closed otherwise it would be a very good enjoyable day for the kids.
Luckly the jeti restaurant is open for business. We have our simple lunch which is reasonably good.
We’ll come back again for the boat ride island hopping.Written 14 September 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Most of the cafe prices are equivalent to KL price. Not much varieties or outlets to shop. Selected fashion attires can be seen. Since it is school holidays, can see many families and young couples around grabbing good deal offers. But, the public toilets wasn’t clean, pipes are faulty and no tissue or dryer.

- JKang1Singapore, Singapore1 contributionCame here to jog. Facilities are poorly maintained except the outdoor gym equipment that looks new. There is also a deer enclosures, they looked lovely but stinks.
Eateries around the area but not a single toilet available for use.Written 20 January 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews. - YvonneJLimPenang Island, Malaysia41 contributionsThe park ticket is economical but most of the crowd are local malays which means you have to be more aware of your attire for respect sake.
The park is ok for a quick family fun but the park needs more maintenance. The water filter system is not that well hence you dont get clear blue water.
Overall, for a local park is fine. However, it is still far from national or international standard.Written 30 December 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews. - Alixia Faith14 contributionsSpent 3 weeks at Sungai Petani, Riverfront City as my business partners were putting up at Big Banana Hotel. Most of our meetings were held at cafes as we prefer relaxing outdoor ambience over those usual hotel conference room.
We were pretty surprise to have found quite a number of assorted restaurants serving Thai BBQ, Chinese Steamboat, Japanese Raman, Bubble Tea Cafes etc. Not forgetting there’s also a foodcourt that were filled with stalls that serve delicious local food too! There’s a cinema within the same roof that I’ve spent 2 of my weekends, enjoying a mini “movie marathon”.
During my personal time, I went around exploring the area by foot. There were rows of shop houses. On the first level, I saw a few shops that were side by side offering foot/shoulder/body massage services at reasonable price. Oh, there’s a Happy Hour Promotion (from 11am till 3pm? = lower priced) that I’ll recommend it to anyone with a stiff shoulder and to ladies who wore heels on daily basis. Fyi, decent joints doing decent business. I’ve spent 4 days continuously on shoulder and foot massage so need I say more? After pampering myself with massages nevertheless to say next up shall be my crowning glory! Hopping from one to another Hair Salons on the same street, I was observing from the outside before deciding on one. I am someone who is very particular about my hair in terms of styling and presentation. I could be seen in my jogging tracks soaked with perspiration and maybe once in a while be seen with smudge eyelashes colour but never with a messy hair. Lol! I decided to step into this hair salon with the countertop filled with bouquets of “Congratulations on Grand Opening”. I did have my fair share of doubt so I went on to test water asking for a Wash & Blow Service. The interior was designed to what appeared to be smoothing and relaxing to me. The stylist who attended to me speaks in English and Mandarin (he speaks in Malay too when I overheard his conversation with another customer). I roughly told the stylist that I have natural curly hair with frizzy ends thus needed styling that could leave my hair straight and smooth. I am not concern about the process so long the outcome preferably could last for 2 days till my next wash (hair wash every alternate days). The stylist did a run-through and observing my hair texture and scalp condition before I could ask if there’s any scalp shampoo, he recommended one to me which I immediately agreed with. I told him about my considerations of doing either a colouring or straightening but will only commit further if the after-result of the Wash & Blow Service is to my expectation. Meaning to say, if I will to be back 2 days later I will proceed with either colouring or straightening treatment. (I apologise for my blunt statement of facts but that’s what I practice back home. If one can tame my natural curl and frizzy hair through a basic Wash & Blow Service, that meant to say I can entrust him to style my tresses entirely based on his professionalism and without the need of consulting me in advance.) After I left the hair salon, I went on a hunt for mani-pedi services. Although there’s one on the second level of one of the shophouses, I went to another shop that was located in Riverfront City as my dinner meeting was an hour away and the dinner place was just a floor level below the mani-pedi shop.
PS: I will do up a separate review on massage service, hair service and mani-pedi service.
Overall, I will recommend Riverfront City a place for accommodation (recommended by my business partners too), business meeting, entertainment as well as beauty & wellness. This is a place for people of all ages.Written 29 August 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. We visited Parkson and on ground floor there was a good display of school uniforms, school bags and other related accessories. The price ranges from middle to high. For example, the price school bags starts from RM 30.00 plus to RM 200.00 plus. So, you need to choose carefully as the merchandise is placed on the same rack.
Service : the staff had little knowledge of the products. For example, we wanted to buy socks for our children. When asked, the staff could provide the size nor could they provide any measuring tape to help determine the size.Written 23 December 2017This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
