beautiful small beach, cristal clear water. you park your car a bit before the small hill, climb up and down and crossing small bushes on your left you'll reach this nice little beach. if you are early you can find some shadow around the beach under these threes.

The first time we discovered Chia Laguna and the beaches was back in 2005.

Since than we regularly come back and always enjoy the sandy beaches and the wonderful water.

This year it was a little bit windy (maestrale and scirocco) but the water was warm and pleasant.

If you like to observe the stars and the moon has still to rise, go to the beach and look at the milky way around midnight.

Very nice and little light pollution

Went there today. It was OK, clean not too crowded, lots of locals there which is always a good sign. Went to another beach we really liked. I will write a review of it when we remember the name!!!

On the slope below the Torre di Chia, excavations are in progress on the Punic fortifications of the city of Bithia, founded in the 8th century B.C. by the Phoenicians. It continued its life under Punic and later Roman rule until it was abandoned in the 7th century A.D. due to pirate raiding on the coast. Although excavations are in progress, and the area is fenced, one can get views of the ruins from the base of the Torre and from the beach below (binoculars help). The ruins are particularly interesting because Punic culture and religious practices continued here well into Roman times with Roman participation in the worship of Bes in the temple first built in the 4th century B.C. and last rebuilt in the late 2nd or early 3rd centuries A.D. at a time when the head magistrates still had the Punic title of "sufetes."

We spent several pleasant hours on this beach. We enjoyed the crystal clear water and bright white sand.

There a several places to rent lounge chairs, and a nice café for lunch.

The sand is great for walking.

The beach has sand dunes which were pretty.

Nice and quite beach with clear water and on top of that a very friendly local vendor with the best fries (patatine) and cool drinks. try the white wine. Also parking available even some days free.
It is an actual little pool.Even when it was almost raining and other beaches were quite wavy, the water here was calm

This beautifully situated Spanish watchtower offers wonderful views, even from its base. I say that because the tower was indeed dark (i.e., closed for repairs) when we visited. I have heard that the view from the top is spectacular, but I would recommend a visit in any case. Access to the site is easy (we walked up a path from a nearby beach, but there is another paved path that is easier. An additional benefit of visiting the site is a chance to see the remains of the old Punic acropolis of Bithia on the slope below the tower.

Gorgeous beach, among the very best in Sardinia, but with one significant drawback - toilets are at the car park, kilometre away from the beach. With the beach bar that sounds like nonsense. The beach has shallow water, you can walk to the islands in front of it, nice rocks and emerald water for unforgettable pictures. Snorkelling is excellent, you can spot many fish and even octopuses.
