The visitor centre at the end of a lovely walk thought the woods is set up with a camera feed from the nest to a screen within the visitor centre. It was explained that the nesting pair and their chicks had been attacked by a rival male and there were no birds on the nest when we went.

The carvery is fantastic and had a selection of 4 meats each time we visited. Absolutely top class in a lovely relaxing atmosphere. Good selection on the menus. Really personable chef and attentive efficient staff. Great advantage point for taking photos of the steam train.

- Kassandra D1 contributionDavid is a great guide with heaps of knowledge of the Cairngorms en its surroundings. He teached us about local flora and fauna. Preparing the hike he takes knowledge of the weather forcast, the windspeed and your wishes for the hike. He took us to a remote and beautiful place where there were no tourists. It was awesome!
David is very reachable, he even helped us, before met him, with our journey by recommending places to see. During the hike he took awesome pictures of us. Great memories! Besides all this he's great to talk to.
We had an awesome day and would really like to come back someday. We definately would recommend going for a hike with David!
