We were lucky to go in a sunny day. The view is spectacular. You can easily do it in a morning or in one afternoon with time to appreciate other things around.

Best mountain top restaurant we have visited via cable car. Views were amazing and food equally good - not the cheapest but an fantastic experience!!
Best to book a table to avoid disappointment as can get busy.

    We will be going again!

We visited during winter time during a day exploring the wonderful Dolomites so a very different picture but still a stunning area. The water was frozen and the views up and down the mountain valley beautiful. Such a shame the museum and cafes were all closed.

We rode 60 km from Mazzin to Weissbach and back on a Sunday. The piste was pretty crowded the first 10 km from Canazei. As you reach Predazzo, the valley becomes broader and sunnier. The „climb“ retour was not as hard as expected. If you have a race bike you can „push“ the retour for a bit of extra exercising.

The hike from Sass Pordoi to Piz Boè is all done above an altitude of 3000 meters, where the lunar-like landscape and the view are spectacular. You can get to the starting point either taking the cableway from Pass Pordoi or hiking uphill from there. Once at Sass Pordoi, there is a short path downhill till Forcella Pordoi, a bit of hike on gravel and then a final challenging stretch climbing up to the top of Piz Boè. Some parts are quite exposed but there are ropes to help you and it’s not particularly complicated. From Sass Pordoi it takes about one hour and a half to get to the top. I know there is even another route to follow but I’m not acquainted with that one. At the top there is Rifugio Capanna Fassa, where you can enjoy the view while you’re eating/ drinking something. Definitely a must if you are close by!

We stayed here with this view from our holiday rental balcony and living room whilst enjoying 2 weeks skiing and exploring the area with family and friends. Just beautiful! Great choice of ski areas too.

Pass below the world heritage mountains. Very crowded, lots of coaches but we found a lovely cafe serving salad etc.

It is a nice palce to have a short stop unless you wish to take the cable car or a hiking trip around. Ther are not many dams where you get a chance to drive on the dam's wall, so for us it was a nice experience to drive on it. Water color is beautiful and views are great. I would suggest to make a short stop at both ends of the water reservoir. Free parking was available.

Historical center of mountain valley village. Famous especially because of the Val Di Fassa ski center. Worth the visit and get a drink or meal in local restaurant or bar.

Very good ski runs and fabulous views. Recommended for non skiers as well as it is so pretty up there with great restaurant bars to keep warm after enjoying the sun and views. Great gondola ride!

Quick trip in the gondola and the views are amazing. Too bad there are no available cafés or other establishments providing a sitting arrangement at that location.

When you are ready take the Green Sellaronda, its 50km in total with approx 30km of skiing and is the easy/middel way around the mountains. If you complete :-) take the Orange Sellaronda that is shorter but way more difficult, enjoy :-)
