- joday013Western Australia, Australia180 contributionsThis would rate a one of the motoring collections I have seen in one place. The level of detail in the exhibition is right up there. The wife is not someone who loves cars ,but even she made comments on how good it is. The first hall was good, the second just topped it off. If you like cars , you will love this place.
The cafe at the front is also excellent.Written 16 March 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. One thing that I really liked was being able to get a quick coffee from one of the permanent cafes on the market perimeter.Written 9 March 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. It could be a bit of a challenge if you are not used to doing too much walking, but the path is easy to follow.Written 3 February 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - evets1232016Sydney, Australia437 contributionsThe colonial towns of NZ all seem to be blessed with beautiful gardens, and Nelson is no exception. A lake full of aquatic birds is a highlight, as is a small Chinese garden. Well worth and hour of your time.Written 25 February 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Brian DDarlington, UK963 contributionsA purely chance visit found this amazing park. We were stunned how beautiful it was couldn't believe how cheap it was to enter this park.
Several buildings were open to view and we also ate at the café which was very pleasant.

- evets1232016Sydney, Australia437 contributionsThis is a very impressive church, every bit as magnificent as the cathedrals of European cities. It's set on parkland on a hill in a lovely part of the city. You could easily spend an hour exploring it-well worth a visit.Written 26 February 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Just a wee drive away from Nelson , but not very well advertisedâŠ
Itâs so worth a walk and swim.Written 23 January 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. It's run by volunteers and the lady who guided us was friendly and knowledgeable. You can choose to have a guided tour by a volunteer, or a self guided tour using the audio available in a few of the rooms - little stereos that you press play on to hear the audio. It's a lovely piece of NZ history and well worth the visit.Written 28 February 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - evets1232016Sydney, Australia437 contributionsThere is a lot of local colonial history here, as well as some Maori history. Also some taxidermy of local birds, and a display of photos and videos of comical moments of animal life. Good for a rainy day.Written 26 February 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
