What travellers are saying
- Bella P5 contributionsThere no place I’d rather be on Sunday evening. It was the last place to visit before we leave Arizona. The beautiful Mesa Temple I still cannot get over it. It’s amazing how the sun rays was shining to the temple building! The visitor temple sisters are so friendly and knowledgeable with all the history of the temple. I feel God’s love.Written 20 February 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Kinda InvisibleSeattle, WA313 contributionsI wish I could figure out a way to give this attraction significantly more than five stars. Wow, what a place!!
First off, it's an incredibly affordable activity to do. The moment we walked in the front door we felt welcome and everyone we encountered was genuinely interested in making sure we had a good time.
For an additional $10 we signed up for a cockpit tour and actually got to sit in three different cockpits. Check the website or call to find out the exact times they give the tours. The access to the planes is unbelievable; be sure to check out the hangar where they're actively working on planes because we were actually able to walk through a B17. My guys were in heaven.
The docents are accomplished servicemen and have so much information to share about the aircraft on exhibit but also about their personal experiences with a number of them. Scattered throughout are interesting posters to read and videos to watch.
We didn't plan ahead well enough to be able to take a flight in one of the planes but if you're so inclined, go for it.
This museum has much to be proud of; make time for it and soak it all in.Written 26 February 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. We had a fun experience, and the pizza was remarkably good as well.Written 6 March 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Chris S3 contributionsI was with my 6 yr old granddaughter. She loved this place. The exhibits were wonderful and very lifelike. A lot of interactive activities for kids. Her favorite was panning for gold!!Written 12 November 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Michael T1 contributionBeautiful Arts and Celebration of a culture. Beware of fake and frauds. Look for REAL original artists of that culture. I know one that is there every year that is not that culture and cares nothing for it. Buy Local.Written 22 November 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- LovetheBeach58503Bismarck, ND215 contributionsWe did Wind Cave hike. Great trail, beautiful scenery. A lot if people on the trail of all ages. Trail was moderate in my opinion. Felt great to reach the top! Restrooms available.Written 14 March 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- SFNM MTBSanta Fe, NM9 contributionsWe visit Scottsdale every year for spring training. We love the Cubs and go to Sloane park at least twice each visit. This is a wonderful place to watch baseball. There is ample food and drink and parking is a breeze. Things can be a bit expensive but it’s a ballpark so that is to be expected. The place is always clean and the crowds are well behaved. - Colleen1978Mazomanie, WI114 contributionsA Must Do Once! We spent several hours, walked the entire Market, bought a few things. We enjoyed the day but will be a while before doing that again.Written 13 March 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - fkendellSurprise, AZ432 contributionsOne of the most entertaining evenings we spend. Showes are awesome and with a meal too, great value. Been several times and have never been disappointed. I think the Elvis show is the best we seen but all are outstanding.Written 19 November 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Bob IPhillipsburg, NJ23 contributionsThis was an unexpected great visit in that we were amazed how lovely the Rose Garden was to visit. It’s not that big in that the Garden spans about 50 x 200 Yards but within that space they have provided many beautiful beds of Roses of all colors and types. They advertise the Rose Garden has 9000 bushes and I can believe it. This is a must see place to visit if you’re in the Mesa, Scottsdale, Temple or Phoenix area. We’ll worth the visit….Written 12 May 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Out This DoorMesa, AZ236 contributionslarge park right near Cubs stadium and Bass Pro Shop. The playground is BIG! It has a splash pad, sandboxes, equipment, and a super tall rope climbing structure. There's picnic tables and seating and rest rooms right near the playground too. The walking path takes you around the park, picnic grounds and connects to the Rio Salado Parkway walk and bike trail which connects all the way to downtown and beyond. You can also do urban fishing in the ponds.Written 1 March 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Rob MCheyenne, WY7,611 contributionsPrice is affordable. 2 hours and our girl was done. Great activity section to color and draw, however wish there was a little more to do outside in the courtyard. Simple and easy to get around. For a 5 year old seemed like a nice museum.Written 3 June 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
