We visited this attraction on our way to sedona after a 3 night stay in williams. It had just snowed for 2 days and was absolutely gorgeous. The animals were all very active and made it for a very enjoyable drive through. The walk through was also cute and many animals also very active. Gift shop was well stocked and decently priced. Highly recommend giving this place a visit if you're in the area. Plan for 2-4 hours depending on how engaging and active the animals are. I could've watched them for hours.

Such a great place to interact with deer. They are such sweet gentle animals and love people with deer pelets. They have a camel, few reindeer, alpacs, goats, zebra and some other animals. it is so much fun for children and adults. The staff is super friendly.

Great that these old trains are on display, and historical information too. My husband and son spent a long time viewing the ins and outs of the workings of the train.

We had a fantastic time chatting to James and trying lots of local wines and other nectars. Thank you for a wonderful experience!

This is a nice visitor’s center/museum/ gift shop in Williams. Clean restrooms and ample parking. A good place to stop.

The drinks were good. The fish tacos were the best I've had. The burgers and pulled pork were ok. The inside of the restaurant was a bit too noisy, so we went outside and it was nice and cool.

Went in October 2016 when Elk are in rut. Heard calls it was an awesome camping trip. There were 6 parties. Beautiful, cold, wet. But worth every minute. My Chihuahua loved it.

In the center of Williams is this old gas station located. The car in front of it is an old 1950 Ford. Inside there is a service station from back then. There are some gas pumps which serve to nostalgia.

This was a fun place to see while in Williams. It was a true western setting. We ate at the Branding iron and be sure and look in the saloon at the dollar bills on the ceiling and walls.

If you visit Williams head West on the main drag until the East and West bound roads come together. In a little park in the center is a statue of the founder of Williams. Interesting and adventurous life.

The hike itself was stupendous. Beautiful woods, great exercise, steep switchbacks. It is 4.2 miles one way. RT 8.4. This is measured on my satellite gps. Take water. None along the way. Easy to follow.
There are 2 negatives that made me lower this rating. One is highway noise. Gong up it seems less noticeable. But coming down I heard it and trains 1 1/2 miles up the trail. Secondly my own opinion to a long strenuous hike (2400 foot ascent) to 9300 feet is a beautiful summit. This is an industrial mountain with multiple radio and cell towers.
It still beats the desert heat and it was a pleasant temperature on top. Wear hiking boots or strong hiking shoes. Also I did hit thunder and a few rain drops on top. It took 2 1/2 hours each way. Best not to leave trailhead after 10 or 11am depending on the season. Also last month there were reports of snow at higher elevations.
