What travellers are saying
- Mary A1 contributionMy husband and I travelled from Massachusetts to see Miss Saigon with my Aunt who is a resident of White Plains. The show was incredible. It was a beautiful story and the performers were excellent. I had also seen Jersey boys at the beginning of the year and enjoyed that very much. I thought the staff was especially helpful and it was a wonderful experience. We will be back!Written 17 April 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Lisa WWichita Falls, TX962 contributionsThis is a very nice big mall. It contains a lot of high end stores, but also some stores for the working class as well. There are several floors, and I spent several hours there while visiting White Plains.Written 4 November 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - NYEMUG1New York City, NY38 contributionsPleasant place for off season walking and hiking. Nice kids playground. I would imagine its crowded in the summer with the huge pool on one end of the park. Also watch out for deer....yes deer in White Plains. One ran right in front of me at 6 am when I drove by there a few weeks ago. The huge parking lot is used for school bus parking for the City of White Plains, so you would want to watch out for lots of schools buses at certain times.Written 12 February 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - mryegreenGillette, WY38 contributionsDidn’t realize what was in front of me as I was looking for something different but it was a great mistake as it was beautiful...Written 13 September 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Amanda EWhite Plains, NY3 contributionsThis house is like a living museum. Tour guide was knowledgeable and interesting. I love how the guide didn’t just talk about Percy Grainger’s music, but also described the cultural, social, and economic impact of his work and life. And they had a harmonium!!! Will be coming back with my parents for another tour!Written 4 April 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Bernie RWoodside, NY163 contributionsAlthough there’s a good selection of different produce, I believe the city ought to give them more area; they should encourage more farmers to contributeWritten 1 June 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - WestMilford80West Milford, NJ6 contributionsThe park features a paved pathway surrounded by different species of trees. There are over one hundred cherry trees (mix of Kwanzan & Yoshino) which provide spectacular color every spring. Turnure Park also features a bandstand, bocce courts, playground and seasonal restrooms which are located in the southeast corner.Written 30 May 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Maltipoo16New York1,255 contributionsThis church is really beautiful. I stopped here for some photography shots when running errands downtown, and the architecture of the building really stood out to me. I never went inside and don’t go to church here so I can’t speak to that, but I’d definitely recommend stopping here if you’re a photography geek like me!Written 14 September 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - jmpjoyRye, NY43 contributionsI pass this store everyday on my way to work for past two years. I finally stopped in the other evening and was beyond pleasantly surprised. First, the store is stunning. The selection at first appears to be only super high end but after George showed me the value selection where there are over 75 wines under $15, I realized that you can’t judge a book by its cover. In addition, the spirits were an added plus. I purchased a whiskey that was a big hit at a gathering later that night along with a mixed case of wine (15% discount). I will be back! - CopCodderCape Cod, MA120 contributionsNice little park with a playground. Not much to see but I’m glad this piece of history was saved. Looking at how steep it’s ascent is and how rocky it is gives you a better idea of why Washington defended his army here.Written 8 April 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - CopCodderCape Cod, MA120 contributionsSite wasn’t open, so parking lot was locked and building was behind locked fence. Locked nice from a distance. Make sure it’s open!Written 4 April 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
