Varadero looked like an amazing dream beach each day, always with different shades of blue that enchant, it doesn't seem real that a beach so big and magical exists.

Just returned from a weeks stay in Havana and made several trips into Old Havana. Had a fantastic time. Did a self guided walking tour through the four squares, took a two hour tour in a ‘59 Chevrolet, did a street vendor tour, and had a cooking class and lunch on a rooftop in Old Havana. Lots of shopping, plenty of restaurants, good rum. I highly recommend spending time in Old Havana.

My friend and I had a really great day trip to Viñales from Havana thanks to our tour private guide José Javier Morales! I found him through other trip advisor reviews. He was very accommodating, friendly, knowledgeable, professional and funny and also speaks English. I thoroughly enjoyed talking with him and hearing him share about his life in Cuba and of course, information on the Valle Viñales.

We did a lot in just a few hours and saw most of the major sights - the prehistoric mural, (then had the best piña colada of my life there), road a boat thru a cave, visited a tobacco farm with a tour and road horseback through a beautiful area, had a delicious lunch and visited a lookout point.

He really made our trip to Cuba so much more memorable and I’d highly recommend him for a Viñales or Havana tour (I think he may do more too)! He had hired a taxi driver who was also very friendly and professional. The price was very good for everything included.

Thankfully, our Airbnb apartment was only two blocks away from this charming square.

We were able to enjoy it lively atmosphere, street dancing, live music, shops, and delicious restaurants.

It is not too touristy as it is also enjoys by locals and tourists.

We ate at the restaurants on the Square and nearby four times .

At day I ran into a trumpet player playing the godfather theme and later met a homeless person who told me that he was a Olympic boxer when he was young.
At night the Malecon is buzzing with people of all ages having a drink, talking, laughing and just having a good time. Like the waves washing against it, we often ended up here after having danced the night away in the casa de la musica nearby.

Can't come to Havana and see the cathedral. the square is lovely and largely restored and the cathedral entrance is free. Avoid a lot of the touts trying to get you to their restaurants, as the better ones are off the square. The plaza is a straight line walk from Prado.

One of the most pristine beaches I have ever seen. Turquoise water and powder white sand. Clothing optional section. Loungers and sun shades available for a small fee.

I visited the FAC with a large group during a visit with my university. The FAC is an interesting, open-concept mixture of a museum, bar, club, shop, food court. While I was there, I saw a fashion show and a dance class! It was really cool! I would recommend checking it out for a night - especially if you are with your friends. Everyone can find something to do here.

It is multi-level, so keep that in mind if you are bringing guests who have trouble going up stairs. It is also a little pricier than other places in Havana. If you are a tourist, come prepared with Cuban pesos (not dollars or euros).

I met the owner/artist here who was very friendly and setting up his store for the day. His artwork is all over the neighborhood as part of his beautification efforts. It reminded me of the artist Gaudi of Barcelona where the work is a combination of stone and mosaic. It is located outside of Havana but worth the trip to explore.

Morro Castle is a must-see historical site for anyone visiting Havana. The castle offers stunning views of the Havana skyline and the ocean. The architecture is impressive, and the history of the castle is fascinating to learn about. You can explore the interior of the castle, including the various rooms and corridors, and learn about its role in defending Havana.

This is the most beautiful beach I have ever been to. It’s like being in a dream. Gorgeous white sand beaches you can walk for hours. I was relaxing on my floatie when a stingray swam beneath me. Snorkelled for 2 minutes before finding a starfish.

The restaurant boasts great off the resort meals for cheap. We ate 3 meals + alcoholic drinks for $30 CAN.

If you want to feel like you went to heaven, spend a day on this beach.
