This is my 3rd sailing on Oasis, last time was before the pandemic. So many changes!!! Pros It's still a beautiful ship and the layout is perfect The Aqua is still amazing Staff are friendly and very attentive Cons The kids took over the ship!!! Loud, unruly, disruptive and out of control. The ships security nor did the parents try to control them. Extremely crowded! Perhaps, we chose the wrong week to sail. Will stick to sailing when the kids are back in school. The food was below average. Cafeteria slop in the Main Dining Room and Windjammer. Zero food variety unless you dine in the specialty restaurants.…

I Just got off this cruise for the second time in 3 months and I feel very sad because I miss all the staff on this cruise they truly touch your hearts and treat you like family. My 15 and 17 year old that complains about everything did not have one complaint as they ventured to the Teen club everynight. the food was on point the Bahamas was beautiful there were annoying kids sometimes but if you don't like kids than go on a private island this is not for you. Shout out to Ariza and Kirisna in the Dining room the best is an understatement. Bicu the dining room host Made on floor 3 was the best house attendant, AJ in port bbq is the nicest soul you ever want to meet. 10 Stars for me!!!…

For me the ship was too big. The ship carries 7,500 passengers and apx. 2500 crew. I am an older adult and want to relax on my cruise. The 7:00 seating had small children who the parents let scream in the middle of the meal. But if you wanted to get into the pool on the solarium, it was very crowded, but it was the best place for me to get the sun. The food was good, not great they had some hits & misses. The staff like any cruise ship is very friendly and attentive. There are activities all day long in fact sometimes you can't get to them on time because of the size of the ship. There are two casino's a non-smoking which was always less crowded but smaller, the other one was very loud and busy. I thoroughly enjoyed going out of Bayonne NJ and the parking was great. it's guaranteed parking. …

We recently spent 17 nights on board Oasis of the Seas. We travelled as a family of 4 with two children with additional needs, and also with grandparents. We had a standard balcony cabin. On first boarding our cruise we were so impressed with the facilities available on the ship. There really is something for everyone. Unfortunately as our trip went on there were more and more incidents that were just unacceptable. Firstly the music played around the pool is not at all suitable for children. There is swearing and talk of drug use etc in the lyrics. I asked 3 times for this to be looked at, and every time I was told it would be changed. It never was. One of our children has a condition that means they sometimes need to use a wheelchair. When disembarking the ship the captain would advise people use the lifts to disembark. This meant we often had to wait for the lifts to go up and down numerous times before we could get in. Because of this we were often the last off the ship. This is frustrating because there is a perfectly good escalator that most people can use, but we’re not doing so. There was no direction or assistance from staff to help those of us with mobility issues at disembarkation. The ship was insanely busy. During the evenings it was often impossible for us to navigate the promenade area with my child in his wheelchair. The crowds of people were too big and we physically couldn’t get through. The entire ship is really very noisy. There are no quiet areas to sit with a drink, and this was problematic for us as both my children are autistic. Again when mentioned to staff they couldn’t have been less sympathetic. Possibly the worst incident we faced was on the final day of our cruise. We were to meet at the main dining room deck 5 to disembark. We were there in plenty of time and sat waiting to be called at our time, 9.20am. At around 9.05am my son (who uses a wheelchair) said he needed the bathroom. His condition means he has issues with his bladder and when he needs the toilet it is with urgency, and so my husband took him to the bathroom just outside the main dining room area. At 9.10am our number was called. We got up and I explained we were just waiting for my husband and son to come back from the bathroom. The staff member told me that the door was locked and they would not be getting back in. I asked her to find out where they were and she told me she could not. They had left my sons wheelchair in the main dining room with me, thinking they were just nipping the few feet outside to the bathroom, so he was at this point without his wheelchair. I explained this and the staff couldn’t have cared less. They replied “this is why you should stay together”, as if it was our fault this has happened. I was then forced out of the dining room onto the deck to disembark, and the door locked behind me. I had to refuse to scan my card to disembark before they found my family before anyone would help. My husband and son were found looking lost on the promenade. Nobody had found them or directed them where to go. My son had had no option but to walk around trying to find help at a time when he should have been conserving his energy for a long day of travelling. This was all avoidable if the staff had shown a little bit of understanding, but quite frankly they did not care. I was just gobsmacked at the lack of disability awareness or general compassion showed by staff on board throughout our cruise. It was so so disappointing that a company as big as Royal Caribbean does not provide adequate training in this area. …
