Loved the ship nad the food in the main dining room was fabulous. My kids enjoyed the kids activities (aside from a few mean boys, but nothing the ship can really do about that). Our stateroom was nice, except the attendant didn't really clean it all the way on our arrival (we found almonds and weird black stuff on the floor by the bed). Our biggest issue though was the water was pretty rough at times (again nothing they could do about that) but everytime there was a particularly rough swell there was a giant metal banging sound. It could be heard throughout the front of the ship and was very unsettling. Even 2 of the performers made comments about it during their shows. Needless to say, waking up to lound banging in our room was very unsettling and the ship did absolutely nothing to tame it down. Very disappointed in that regard as we lost 3 nights of sleep due to it.

This was our first cruise of the Aventure of the Seas. My husband and I have been on the Mariner of the Seas, Allure, Harmony and Enchantment of the Seas. The ship is an older ship but very clean except the sofa in our room. It is getting worn and seemed dirty. I believe the Adventure of Seas will be due for a revitalization in future. Pro: The shows were good. The Ice show was not as good as the other Ice shows we have seen on other ships that had ice skating rinks. Customer service is very nice. Our servers at dinner were very good. We had Benny couple of nights because we wanted to get to the shows earlier. RC put us at the second seating and we had reservations at 6:30. Our waiters at the 6:30 seating, Darma and Iwayan, were very good as well. The front desk at the reservation was accomdating to us when we went at 6:00 to be seated so that we could see 7:00 shows. Cons: We spoke to Leonard about excursions at St Thomas. He was very knowledgeable about excursions. If you asked anybody else at the excursions desk they didn't know what they were doing. We took Leonard's advice and went on the Discover St. and Megan's Island Excursion. This excursion was without a doubt the worst experience we have had on any of our previous cruises- including an MSC cruise. The shuttle van we were piled into was old, dirty and we could not hear/understand the driver when he spoke on the speaker system. We rode over 45 minutes to get to Meagan's Bay which was overcrowded with NO chairs or even a place to lay a towel on the beach. The driver made no attempts to stop at any scenic overlooks on his way to stop at the worst souvenier store I had seen to date. It was definitely not the "shopping experience" the excursion brochure described. It is doubtful that we will ever go on another RC excursion, including our up and coming next cruise. When we returned to the ship we tried to share our terrible experience on our excursion with the Excursion Desk but noone was ever there and our messages we left with the neighboring service desk were never returned.

We took a Royal Caribbean Cruise on The Adventure of the Seas, January 13th - 19th. I went with my sister and brother-in-law. I want to complain about our experience in an excursion and the handing of our charges to our credit cards. We were dropped off by a bus in Nassau for a boat excursion. We were slow to keep up with our group for a long walk to the peer. The boat left without us!!! They only refunded half price when we also had to figure out how to get back to our ship. The second part of my complaint is due to the billing for our rooms. We both had Ocean View Balcony rooms side by side. I paid the $1779.85 for my room in advance of the trip and my sister and brother-in-law paid for theirs, but after getting home my sister and brother-in-law were charged a second time for my room!! When they contacted Post-Cruise Support they were told the charge would remain on their card. We had no assurance that they would correct this mistake. We have credit card statements that prove their room was paid for and my room was paid for, but they still have another charge for my room on their card, They have not adequately assured us that they will investigate this incorrect billing error.

This was our first cruise ever and we LOVED it!! Food was delicious! I’ve never been so full in my life. A happy tummy. Staff couldn’t be more accommodating. My husband and I enjoyed our balcony a lot. We loved the pools, rock climbing, entertainment was amazing! All you can eat Pizza 24 hours a day … what more could you want? Highly recommend.

Ship was way over crowded and not managed properly. It was almost impossilbe to get a pool chair lounge after 9am since people were reserving them by putting towels on them against ship policy. Royal did not enforce the policy so you were stuck. It was hard to find a seat or table in the buffet restaurant and the lines for food were long. Food was terrible. Basiclly the only thing for lunch edible was a hot dog and frys. Meat was tough and unedible and hamburgers were all dryed out. Dinner was not much better. I had sailed on RC before covid and it was great. They are obviously cutting costs and service and food quality is being effected. The larger ships are way over croweded since the pool size and restaurant does not increase on the larger ships. So if you go choose a smaller ship but being prepared for sub par food. Entertainment was sub par too
