Ship smelled like poo, smell was very bad on the 7th deck where our room was. Was told by several crewmembers that the smell was a known problem for months... Furthermore, the ship seems to be in very poor condition, maybe it's time for it to retire. The room was the smallest that I have ever been in on a ship. No refrig in the room, no morning coffee or breakfast choices for room service like most other ships. Food was NOT great and they tried to charge me an uncorking fee for an already opened bottle of wine that I brought for dinner. Instead of being asigned a table for two in the dinning room, we were asigned seats at a table of 12 strangers. Service people seemed to try and come up with reasons why they couldn't do things rather than try to be helpfull, examples: getting assigned a table for two, and having the room looked after more than once in the morning. Normally at the end of a cruise I hand out a lot of cash to the service people because they are normally so nice and helpful, but I didn't on this cruise because the service was so poor. Not the ships fault, but heavy rain during all the port calls. The Jacksonville port and people that worked at the port were very nice and helpfull.

We had an inside cabin with conjoined doors to our friends, i love it, it was clean and fun and so dark, best sleep ever. Tons of stuff to do and see, and the bahamas were amazing. open dining and the best drinks. only con: the ship was old and smelt of sewage the whole trip.

had a great time.... Would have liked dance music appropriate for a couple in their 50's, wish smoking was banned in doors (Casino was the ashtray from hell), and drinks appeared far, far, weaker than we are used to having. But otherwise enjoyed the trip

I have been on several cruises and loved every one. I was quite disappointed with my Carnival experience. The boat was extremely rocky -which was fine for me but many passenger were sick throughout the trip, the food was okay but nothing special. The drink package was ridiculous. Most disappointing was that we were bored the majority of the time. There were some activities and such here and there, but nothing as entertaining and active as our other cruises. I’m sure the entertainment show cast works hard, but their performances were not done well. We skipped most shows because of it. This was not at all what I was expecting when booking with “the fun ship.” I did not have much fun. There was an awesome DJ at the pool and night club from time to time. The staff was great. Everyone was super kind and welcoming. Special shout out to Putu -our cabin Stewart, Igor and his team in the Wind Star restaurant, and Luis the bartender from the Blue Iguana. Hands down the kindest, hardworking people we met and they definitely made the trip for me. Also, huge shout out to the hard workers that don’t get much credit from the kitchen staff to those who maintain the ship to anyone behind the scenes I didn’t meet. It is not unnoticed all that they do, even though they get little credit. I appreciate you. I was also disappointed that several times when I was in the cafe, what appeared to be upper management or higher seniority members of the staff seemed to be impatient of having to wait for food that was being made fresh to order. The crew members were busting their butts to meet the needs of the demand. I never saw them doing nothing and for the other staff to tap their foot and whisper as they look at someone running non-stop, I was extremely put off by that. Overall, I did have a good cruise, but I will likely stick to another cruise line if I can help it.
