Balcony stateroom nice, clean, great bed, twin made into a king. Soft sheets just right pillows. Dewan, attendant he was wonderful new towel animal every day. Room alway kept perfect, he never forgot our ice container everyday. All staff we encountered was helpful, took care of any need me or my husband needed. Really liked the faster to the fun was worth the money just not waiting in those lines. Excursion had a nice time with our choices. Now the negative the food, oh my the food was not good. The buffet was such a disappointment terrible. The pay to eat restaurants was just frustrating, you pay for the cruise but certain restaurants are not part you pay extra for that. Carnival seems to dollar you to death. Be sure of the entertainment extra dollar amount you place on your credit card before the cruise. We found out you can play bingo, deal or no deal or build a bear. Be informed that if you don't use it on those 3 things you donate that entertainment money to Carnival they keep it. I consider that theft but Carnival considers it a freebie from the customer. The gratuities were paid in advance, but when room service brought you something you still feel obligated to give again. The receipt should reflect the gratuities paid. The language barrier for some of Carnival employees is considerably noticeable. Not the employees fault, staff should be offered classes to help them acclimate better. Carnival you all need to work on your buffet menu. Add favorites not fancy. Not everyone on the cruise wants to eat something they can't pronounce.

Oh My Goodness! Our First Cruise ever, had the best time! Carnival ship is amazing. Food was great, a few items we didn't like but that's true with most buffets. Balcony room was incredible. King Bed (two twins pushed together). Nice bathroom/shower, had a little clothes line to hang your wet swimwear and toweling. TV, nice little desk/vanity area, plenty of drawer/closet space with hangers and storage for luggage, great friendly cruise staff, wait staff, bar staff, and personnel in the gift shops. Very clean, nicely appointed dinning areas with boat loads of free tea, lemonade, coffee, and water. Loved the adult deck area on top of the boat - nice area to lounge and sit in the sun, hot tubs on both sides for adults only - at night it was as if you could reach out and touch the moon/stars they felt so close - incredible views during the day while at sea. I would highly recommend going on this cruise you won't be sorry! Best Chillaxed trip ever! We book our 2nd cruise for upcoming Feb 2025 on the Liberty. Thank you EVERYONE on the ship who provided excellent service to ensure our trip was one to remember!

The Valor was a great ship! I loved the theme of the ship. It made it feel more elegant than staying at a resort. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Our room steward, William, was amazing! He always kept our room in tip top shape and brought us ice in a beer bucket daily for milk for my son. Our server, Danish, in the MDR was also a rock star. He remembered our names, had conversation with us, brought us extra dishes to try and was always in a good mood. The only draw back would be that the rooms are outdated.

This is a big 'No' never again! Went during Spring Break for Atlanta schools, from port of New Orleans. Aging ship-shows signs of wear and tear, tacky outdated decor, too many people packed on the ship. Food at buffet just 'so-so.' Food in Dining very good. Food at various specialty restaurants also very good. Terrible coffee. Only one kind of (hot) tea. Loud music everywhere-cannot escape it. Difficult to find a quiet niche to just relax. Pools packed with bodies; elevators run slow/with lines always. Not at all a relaxing experience which is what I needed. Repeat-never again. Finished with Carnival. Tips: Do not cruise on Spring Break; carefully choose the port you leave from; smaller ships which holds fewer people may be a better fit.

Bland food and shows. We have travelled with carnival twice before and this was not a good experience. On the house room service that used to be free and on the house now costs. And it was terrible food and wrong. Pot smokers next door had our room smelling like skunks the majority of the cruise so our balcony was not enjoyable. Our room was falling apart and dirty. Bathroom floor felt as if we were in a 70s camper van. Customer service is a joke and they were not personable at all. Our steward was nice and there were a few enjoyable moments but I would never do this boat again. The ports are overrun and late cruisers returning to the ship almost an hour and a half late caused the ship to have to go faster to make up time which in turn makes for a more rocky boat ride. So lots of people were nauseous at dinner and overnight was rough. Plus note : On and off the boat was smooth.
