Just returned from Greek Island cruise abord Enchantment of the Sea. This was my first time cruising with Royal Caribbean. On our first night our room needed a pull down bed set up it took 3 phone calls and one visit to guest services from 11pm until 12:30am to get it sorted we were so tired by the time a steward came to sort it not impressed at all. We didn't get to Mykonos due to weather and tendering to Zakynthos was shambolic. Food and bar service were average. Check-in, shore excursions and disembarkation were very smooth. I would be reluctant to cruise with Royal Caribbean again.…

Just returned from a lovely Greek cruise on the above ship. This ship definitely needs a refurbishment. The cabins are very shabby, The wood on cabinets all wearing off, old fashion shower curtain. It was also very unclean, stains on the settee and carpets. Not luxurious at all.

This was our first time cruising and if Royal Caribbean is the standard then I will never do it again. The ship is way beyond its use by date and we felt completely ripped off. The balcony of our room was unusable, due to the ash dumped on it every day from the chimney stacks. Also, I’m no food specialist, but it was just average repetitive menus. The windjammer can only be described as a canteen with plastic plates and tepid food. I just don’t get it!! For what you pay it’s a complete and utter scandal. Never again.…

With the exception of the shows, which I have to admit were all excellent, the ship leaves a lot to be desired. The facilities look old and poorly maintained. They changed our excursion itineraries on several occasions, which caused me to lose money on tickets that I had already booked independently in the ports. The food in the main hall never tasted good and the treatment of some people who served there was mediocre, with the exception of John and Giovanna who behaved very well. The prices increased drastically, there was no captain's night and only one photo night, to force clients to use the private service. There were no offers on television, just a channel that broadcast the same movie over and over again. Daily activities were poor and boring. Pro: the food in the buffet, always better than the dining room, the treatment of the staff and the hiring of excursions. But the ship was a 2-star hotel, poorly maintained and had few activities. It didn't looks like a Mediterranean ship. I don't use any more Royal.…

I am writing whilst on the cruise on holiday and very disappointed with the cruise ship. Although the staff are amazing very helpful and polite but the entertainment is very boring and very outdated. The main areas are well kept but very dated. The ship itself was dirty unclean and rusty all around. I paid 6500 pounds (for cruise+ excursions+ on board extras like water and internet for £600 definately not worth it!) holiday for family of four with young kids and I WILL not recommend this You better off going to Bali for lesser amount in a five star. I booked balcony view room and supposed to be the second best on the ship; but rooms are horrendously small and dirty. The plastic is old and yellow discoloured. Very unsightly disgusting. Balcony is dirty with poorly designed boarder where water keeps pooling up. We haven’t sat one day on balcony. This cruise rates itself as five star but it’s looks as 2 star room. Size of our room is of pigeon hole. They charged so much for crampy room. My family of nearly full size human being were cramped in the room. Please do not look at the photos online. I will be Attaching photos of our room for your better decision making. Entertainment is also outdated and not suitable for young X and Z-gen It’s best for old couples only as everything is catered for old family. Pools are also small And very very boring During our cruise the sea got a bit rough which caused the pools water to move side to side violently which causing lots scruff on skin on adults and both of my and other children. Not the crews fault but there should have been warnings put in place. First day check in has started at 10am; but when we checked in we were supposed be given our rooms at 1pm but didn’t get till 1:30 and when we did enter the room, We were horrified to find find rooms disgustingly old looking dirty and every drawer we open were dirty with previous occupants hair in the drawers. Causing me disgust. Made a complaint as it’s not fair the rooms to be so dirty and unclean but was told that cleaning was not done stilll. So why were we checked in into our rooms? No toiletry is supplied by the way. I had to ask for mine and only got it for first day. Online photos show the toiletry’s being delivered but it isn’t. That a lie! Food was amazing tho and that all we enjoyed. Everything else became very boring from 4th day onwards. On day four for no apparent reason our day on shore been changed to day in sea. The day happened to be my husbands birthday and we ended up sleeping and hanging around on ship all day. It was not informed to us and even on our itinerary it clearly mentioned as it was going to dock on shore. We planned a lovely day for hubby’s birthday but got canceled and we were not informed by the staff Overall it dampened our holiday spirits as it was very expensive for what it really is. I am on cruise right now and looking at prices again which now has come down to even more than half of what I paid for exactly the same thing. I would say that’s it’s worth Please do not book if you have kids over 11years or come with friends to keep them busy. Lots of young kids got sea sick as well as sea got rough during our time on sea. Ship to me seemed unstable at times. It’s a very old ship. Invest in either newer ship on another company. I wasn’t blown away with enchantment of the sea. And if the RC enchantment of the sea is reading please offer me partial refund as you have charged but not delivered for what was promised. Feels like theft 🙏…
