Warning: Long review! We travel as three large family and youngest children were only 10-12 years old. When playing in the basketball court, some middle age men and teenagers grabbed our kids and their ball, throw them out of the court and threaten our children, they said "I am a marine office I get to kick you off if I want to, the other male adults told our children only if they can do more push up than they can (these are male adults in the twenties!) Otherwise, they are not allowed to play in the sport court. I was furious when I reached the sport court, I saw a group of young adults in their twenties among them, some middle age men and women with drinks in their hands. One of them started shouting at a group of children looking like 12 - 13 years olds told them that they need to be off the sport court. Since there were alcohol involved and there is a large group of them, I immediately contacted the guest service which they called the security guard. Security guard Rana told us "There is nothing we can do. If there is a physical conflicts, then we have strict policy." I told him, I don't expect 10 - 13 years old started a physical conflicts with men in their 20-40s. But ours and other family's children were terrorized and can they at least send a sport guide to keep children from being push off the sport court. Rana told me and other parents "You are talking in loops, I have told you the sport manager said there is nothing we can do." Disappointment cannot described how we felt towards how the security guard handle this situation. Our children and other family's children did not spend money and time just to have a terrible memory and experience on a cruise trip. A few of us went to the guest service again asking if anyone from Royal Caribbean have the courage to stood up to drunk adult guests on the sport court. The customer service staff were very helpful and called the Sport Manager, I can heard Dyanny the sport manger over the phone telling the customer service staff again "There is nothing I can do, I am not going." The customer service staff told him, the least he could do is to come and speak with the customers. We explained to Dyanny that some adults with alcohol are refusing to leave the sport court and pushing children off the court. Dyanny replied " It is Royal Caribbean's policy that we cannot ask people to leave the court." We told him, we are not asking him to remove people off the court, the only thing we asked is to have a representative staff from Royal Caribean to remind the adults that are terrorizing and not leaving the sport court to be kind to children. Dyanny replied " We do not have enough staff so whoever wants to use the sport court have to organized yourselves" I asked him "You are asking 10 years olds to organized themselves against ex-marines and adults 2-3 times their size and age?" Dynnay replied " There is nothing we can do." He repeated a few times there is nothing he can do. I told him it is not our job as guests to confront with drunk adult guests on this cruise ship, it is the Royal Caribbean staff's responsible. He repeated a few more times there is nothing they can do. I do not expect those of you who are already booked with Royal Caribbean to give up on your vacation because of my negative experience. Just be careful with your children, do not leave them by themselves especially around the sport court where there is no crew staff can be found or take responsible to make your children safe.

Had Junior suite. Great. Huge balcony, comfortable bed and pullout. Unobstructed view of ocean. Suite cleaned everyday. Buffet was great. Visited Coco Cay and Cozumel. Coco was paradise. Not crowed though it was Christmas week. Peaceful cruise no rowdiness. Polite staff. Can't wait for Royal again.

I was sooooo excited to take my family on a cruise. It was my sister's and her children's first cruise ever. This was my first cruise with RC. I usually cruise with Carnival. I was so disappointed with this cruise I wish I would've never wasted money on it. Ok... so we had no idea that you have to book an excursion through RC in order to get off the ship. We did book 2 excursions for Coco Cay but we planned on having a beach day in Nassau. We didnt know until we received a notice on our cabin door stating that in order to get off the ship you had to book an excursion. The problem was that by the time we got the notice everything was sold out. We searched and there wasnt any excursions for kids under 6. We had 2 under six. Beach day was ages 18+. If we'd known prior we could've purchased an excursion ahead of time. So we had no choice but to stay on the ship. They lost my sister's luggage and there were no sea passes as her door. We had to search the ship for her luggage cause guest servics stated that we had to wait at least 2 hours before reporting her items missing. We needed the luggage asap. Found it, no help from them. However, that took time ... that's when we received that note. WORSE OF ALL, we were told that the kids can only use the pool if they are potty trained. We had two toddlers (ages 1 &3) They cried to get in pool. Sooooo we had no choice but to stay on the ship at port AND they kids couldn't swim??? What was the point of taking the trip? I'm very disappointed with RC. I expected a call after the survey but nothing. The kids had nothing to do but sit on a hot ship and eat ice cream while the other kids enjoyed the pool. They cried the almost the whole day during 'fun' day at sea. Ugh. We missed making reservations for the shows while looking for her luggage. They was they advertise the importance of making sure you have the vaccine & negative covid test is the same way they should advertise making sure you book an excursion PRIOR to cruising. The basketball ball court was closed the entire time. The Skypad was only open for a couple hours. Nothing to do!! What a waste of money!!!!! Gave them 2 stars because Perfect Day at Coco Cay was nice. Only part of the trip the kids enjoyed. But not worth the money spent on the entire trip.

Like my title says, this is the best time to cruise! We booked this trip at the last minute and it was half of what my fiancée considers a reasonable deal! The cruise ship was immaculate and the staff were very attentive. We had 1800 people on our ship, which normally holds 3500. The lines for all the onboard activities were non existent or extremely short. We enjoyed the water slides, rock wall, gym and hot tubs. There is a kid free pool and hot tub section. The nightly shows were also amazing! There were hilarious comedians, a AMAZING and funny juggler & a top 3 winner from a television singing show. ( The X Factor) and a wonderful Ice-skating show. There is a daily Veteran's gathering if you wished to join and have some great conversation. There is a beautiful casino and shopping options if you wish to pick up a few souvenirs or gifts. We did not purchase the soda package because there were plenty of other choices (lemonade, coffee and tea) which were part of the delicious meals. I suggest getting one waiter for your nightly fine dining because he or she will give you the best consistent service. Usually, you will figure out who to request on your first night. You can add on excursions in Nassau and Cozumel if you wish. We booked one privately and another through the ship. The Dolphin excursion in Nassau was something I will never forget! Yes, you get to hug a Dolphin! As we left, we were glad we jumped on this last minute cruise. 600 additional people were joining the next cruise so if you are considering a trip, this is the time! The level of service and access to activities has never been better!

We were not sure what to expect. We are fully vaccinated but still needed a negative COVID test within 2 days of boarding. They are very strict about wearing masks at indoor common areas while not actively eating or drinking. There are many areas only open to vaccinated guests (no kids) so really, we only needed to wear the mask coming and going in indoor areas. There were no reported cases on our cruise. The entertainment was first class. The food was great. The service was over the top. We are so glad we went.
