Worst cruise ever! It was filthy, disorganized, horrible food, under staffed, bad entertainment…think twice before you spend your money there . Awful !!

as first time cruisers we were not impressed with the whole experience. arriving at the time allocated 1700 to find we could have boarded throughout the day eventually getting on board only to find it was a case of sorting ourselves out. staff wearing a bib saying guide to what when asked which way to the cabins no reply just a shoulder shrug A LOT OF HELP no welcome aboard. eventually found the cabin and then had to find some one to put the lights on most people we spoke to told us not to compare it with other companies the food was good but small portions restaurant staff could not fault them. excursions were expensive.£43 for 40 minutes bus ride.Duty-free shop very small limited stock.Whole experience disappointing.Other seasoned cruisers felt the same.never again msc.…

Had I went off of reviews, I would have never booked this trip. I am SO glad I got the chance to experience it for myself. A few weeks ago, my boyfriend and I sailed from Port Canaveral, FL to the Bahamas on MSC Seaside. The embarkation process was quick and seamless. We actually arrived before our call time and still got on the boat early without an issue. The staff were so friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the food without partaking in speciality dining! Our menu for dinner was new and exciting every night. There wasn’t a meal we didn’t enjoy! We got the drink package and purchased an excursion both of which were a great value! MSC’s private island Ocean Cay was beautiful and very peaceful. There was tons of things to do on the boat and we enjoyed every minute of it! I will definitely cruise with MSC in the future! …

It was our first experience with MSC Virtuosa. It was a 4 day cruise to Ireland and Portland on the way back. Unfortunately for bad weather we went to Zeebrugge instead. The entertainment was very good. Buffet food ok ISH. Dining in the evening was ok we had good waiters. Too many people on board meant it was very noisy. Leaving port to go ashore was a nightmare. The shuttle bus took you to the entrance of the port and from then on you made your own way to wherever you wanted to go. They forgot to make provision for disabled people in wheelchairs who wanted to experience the outside world. The shuttle buses had no ramp to get wheelchairs on until a passenger a lowyoung girl sorted the problem out. And in all fairness as MSC changed the route it would have been nice to have had a shuttle to brugge free of charge which was only 15 minutes away. Instead if you wanted to go it was £43 each. For a family that is allot of money. No little perks on this ship just basic. The cabin which was balcony was much smaller than other cabins we have experienced the shower room was very small. Plastic crockery and glassware with wooden stirrers instead of spoons it made it feel like a cross Chanel ferry. Will I go with this cruise line again NO. …

Msc- first time on this ship. First cruise for our teens. Been on a couple cruises before, but we're not experienced cruisers. So we had a much better time than the people we met who are experienced cruisers. Let's get started: Dining services assigned - 9:45pm which was absolutely too late for us. We requested early dining at booking. We tried to get an earlier time on arrival but were told priority was given to seniors and families with young children. Young children shouldn't get priority in fine dining ( isn't that what all the kid options all over the boat are for). We finally got in early on the night everyone went ashore. They need to rethink the times for American diners or alter the times between the 2 fine dining restaurants, to accommodate more people. Buffet bar food was ok. When I found something I liked they didn't bring it back the next day. Most food was salty, somethings had very high sodium. Search for food at buffet. Search for clean table, lots of dirty tables because no where to put dishes, staff had to clean behind guests but couldn't keep up with the demand. Need better system for so many people using buffet dining services at same time. Pros- healthy options for fresh fruit, great breads , pastries, and fish ( especially the Salmon was excellent) Room: Shower stalls are very compact Tight for 5.8 male of 155 lbs. We got stained clean washcloths. If can bleach them, trash them, no one wants someone else's make up stained or paint clean up wash cloth. They did replace them when we asked. Room attendant was great. Didn't get his name. Lots of balcony rooms available. Room was nice, clean and just enough space for 4 of us to share for a short period of time. Basically a queen size bed plus a bunk bed, TV and desk. We only slept in the room. More children than expected - lots of them (kids and teen club available) but still lots roaming the ship unattended. Not much structure to the teen club. Not much interaction between staff and teens, didn't see organized games. Kids club was more of what you would expect - like budget summer camp. Don't buy activity pass for game room, not worth it. Not enough activities to use the pass on. It's worth taking the kids a choosing what you want to do and pay outright. Staff for most part was friendly Exceptional staff members: Fine dining - Mahendra Singh( head waiter) Pande ( waiter) Marketplace - Winnie Nijiru from Kenya Spa- Nola from Bali Entertainment -Leo from Scottland Con: One of the activities staff gave a bottle of alcohol as a prize to a girl that the audience clearly shouted to him that she was under age. Of course she took the bottle and her and friends got out of there ASAP. Why are you giving bottles of alcohol as game prizes anyway. Get real prizes. The other interesting thing they did was rent out most of the major rooms during the day at day. Made no since that the time everyone is on board with nothing to do to have so many of the activity rooms not available. So all other options were jammed packed. Rentals should be during excursions or beach day when a quarter of the guests are on the ship but have an option to get off . Bright spots: karaoke nights outside pool deck. Havana room dance classes and nostalgia games. Fine dining once we got in, service was great, food was good. Day at Coco Cay was nice (lunch was good). The Michael Jackson show was very good. The evening parties were fun. And last but not least the Spa, Nola's massage made the entire trip worth it for me. Excellent! …
