My mum (60) and I (25) went on a 10 day cruise around the Caribbean. We started in Miami, Puerto Rico, St Thomas Virgin Islands, St Matreen & Bahamas then back to Miami. Balcony Cabin with drinks package. Food was nice and plenty of options (I'm not fussy) Balcony Cabin was great and bigger than expected. leaving/boarding ship was very straight forward and much faster than I thought it would be at each stop getting off and on you need to take your room card and passport. Negatives: Bar staff are very rude !! there are multiple bars to choose from and when we would go to the bar for water, can of soft drink or even the occasional alcoholic drink we would wait sometimes 20 minutes when there was no one else in the bar. For example we went to the sports bar one day which was empty as it was early afternoon most people are at the pool and asked for water the bar man decided to clean the bar and every table and fix the cookies on the tray and move them around I Waited 15 minutes and all he had to do was scan my card and hand the water to me but this is the type of behaviour and on a few occasions at night I seen people march out of the bar without a dink because they had been so fed up waiting and as I said there is multiple bars so I never found any one bar very busy maybe 3 people at the bar was the most I seen the full trip but with 2 bar staff most times at the bar you don't expect to wait 15/20 minutes especially when all they need to do is scan the card and hand you the drink most times a water or can of Soda. The bar outside near the glass bridge was the only place you could get a drink without standing around waiting ages and got service with a smile but the ship is massive so you find yourself at different parts but I started sunbathing at this part purely to get a drink as it was very warm mid May 2019. This was my first and last cruise unfortunately due to the attitude of the bar staff we found ourself drinking the machine juice at the buffet because it would simply take so long at the bar and being ignored constantly and other travellers also had the same complaint.

My boyfriend and I stayed in a balcony room for an 8 day cruise to the Caribbean. When reading the reviews about the cruise line, we were very worried that it wasn’t going to go well... but EVERYTHING WAS WONDERFUL. The staff was extremely kind and helpful, they definitely were not understaffed and things were done in a timely manner like embarking, disembarking, the safety drill, etc. The food wasn’t great, but we also did the bare minimum and only got food from the buffet (I’m also vegetarian so it made things harder for me) but my boyfriend said the burgers were good and I can say the pizza was good! The entertainment on the top deck was wonderful, and we made it to every island on time. Our experience was wonderful.. thank you to all the hard working people that made our experience stellar. (-: (p.s. I forgot to mention everything was kept super duper clean as well)

Customers beware... We booked a trip back on March 14th. We called the night before to confirm if the cruise was still set to go. They assure us they was good to go and said to come on down. We flew down and arrived to port only to hear they cancel cruise due to cova 19 and said they will give us full refund in 60 days. We were mad but better safe then sorry. But Now here it is over 60 days past and we still have not received our refund. We spoke with several representatives inquiring about our refund. Everyone has different excuse. One says refund was processed last week to contact our bank. We called our bank and they assured us there is no hold on wire transfer and there was no requested of credit to our account from MSC. We called MSC back and spoke with another rep. She stating it was just processed. We explain we have already spoke with our bank and they assured us nothing has come through from MSC. We then asked for a supervisor. She apologized for miss information and that it be another 10 more days. 😡. This company is still taking money for future cruising But not processing refunds accordingly. I Know we are not alone dealing with miss management mess. But I hope this saves some one else from going through the same mess.

We had never been on a cruise and were persuaded my my lovely brother and his wife. Well we were blown away. Everything was perfect. Something for everyone and you could do as little or as much as you want. We thought we would only do it once and did everything . I learnt to dance eat good food, tasted tequila, drove in the jungle, tried every cocktail known to man. It was amazing. I think we started at the top and hope we haven’t been spoilt. Would recommend wholeheartedly and cannot wait for the next one .

First of all, we had an absolutely fabulous cruise! It was impressive enough that my husband and I are seriously considering doing a back-to-back next year. I can honestly say it was one of the most enjoyable cruises I've sailed. Our upgrade bid was accepted and we were assigned Suite 16051. - MSC Seaside February 29, 2020 - 7 night sailing. There were a few issues/concerns, 2 of which were very annoying, unfortunately there is nothing that can be done. there are also a couple of others that do need to be mentioned. I'm listing these first, then will get to everything else that was excellent/impressive. 1. Some of the other "guests" were beyond rude; racist, nasty in their comments, and physically pushy. I heard more than one crewmember being verbally abused; this is unprofessional and unacceptable. 2. At one of the ports, the Disney vessel as docked right across pier. It was so close, I could have sailed a paper airplane over to it. Unfortunately, their speaker system was so loud that we not only heard their announcements in out suite (yes, the door was closed), my husband and I had to shout to hear each other. This was not just when they had announcements, it continued during their deck music, entertainment, movies, etc. We definitely could not enjoy being in the suite and certainly not our balcony when they were in port. 3 (and this is the one that needs the most attention!) There are issues with the Photo Department. On several of ports, there was no photo staff there when we disembarked; no, we were neither the first not the last ones off. So, no pictures there. Several of the photo kiosks did not work, or were very inconsistent. Lastly, while most of the staff were friendly, some photographers seemed very impatient and not open to different style poses. We are just not into the staged stock type photos. On the last night, we went to purchase photos and could not find them all. We tried the kiosk, however it was not working. I asked for assistance from one of the "gentlemen". He responded with a loud exasperated sigh and an actual eye roll! He pushed me aside and did something with the kiosk, some of the photos came up; but not all. I asked him about the ones were were missing and he told me, "you'll just have to figure it out". I was shocked at how rude he was. We left without purchasing any photos at all. 4. On Ocean Cay, the beach in the Yacht Club area needs serious attention. It is way too rocky and has way too many sharp broken shells to be able to walk without hard soled shoes. I ended up having to wear my sandals just to get to/from the water. Even with the sandals, I ended up with a cut foot. (Not too bad, just needed a few Band-Aids and was irksome.) And that's IT for the "not-so-great" comments! Very short list and I realize that no vacation will be perfect! On to the positives! The crew is exceptional! Embarkation: Quick, personable, and professional. The Yacht Club Lounge was a treat while we were waiting to embark. Being the first people met, they all certainly started the cruise in a very positive manner. Dining room - Huge kudos to the entire staff from the Chef, to the Maitre D', Bartenders, and Serving staff. The food was extremely high quality and presented beautifully. Great beverages, it did not take the bartenders long to remember our preferred drinks. Serving Staff - After the 1st night, we requested Yoven Nunnen's and Zishan Mansoory's section. They were THAT good. Very friendly, and professional. They knew how to pace the meal, kept the water glasses and bread plates full, and had wonderful food and beverage suggestions. They were around when we wanted them, however were never intrusive. In the Yacht Club Lounge, Doris Songa, Chandy Nixon, and Ronald Marqueza were delightful; always around to make sure our drinks were cold, correct, and not needing to be refilled. They all were very enjoyable conversationalists. Also in the YC Lounge, the Elegant Duo (2 ladies, pianist and violinist) were a true treat. We made sure to be in the lounge to hear them nightly. Butlers: We were very pleased with the team of Mungroo Rakesh and Nilesh Kashyap. They both went above and beyond to make sure everything as perfect and were very proactive. The suite was kept very clean, any requests were handled correctly and promptly, and they made sure we were escorted to the shows, for disembarkation at the ports and in Miami, etc. They also made excellent suggestions for activities. No matter how busy they were, they took the time to have a nice conversation and make sure we were happy. Rakesh also took great care of us on Ocean Cay! Concierge Desk. Perfect team, very quick, knowledgeable, and patient. Always smiling and friendly. Shows: All were very high quality and entertaining. My Life In Music was my personal favorite. We're very happy we also saw Butterflies, Peter Punk, and Starwalker. These were quite different that the other cruise lines shows. The preshow entertainers were absolutely hysterical! Ocean Cay: By far, this was the port highlight of the entire cruise! We had pre-purchased an Ocean Front Cabana in the Yacht Club area (#4) and it ended up being a great shore excursion. The cart transfer from/to the front was definitely pleasant and handy. Rakesh once again took exceptional care of us; always making sure we were well fed and watered. Champagne is always a nice way to start the day! The food, especially the Lobster Roll, was as excellent as found anywhere. Drinks were cold and refreshing. The beach mats and snorkel equipment were quite handy. I highly recommend this cruise and look forward to returning.
