We've never been to Ashland -- thinking about July. Do we need to order theatre/play tickets well in advance or can we order them when we arrive?
Oklahoma- is it really suitable for all ages or are there sexual moments and humor that could be awkward for middle school children?
Can you recommend a great hotel or bnb for a family of 4, including two teens. We're prefer two rooms/three beds. If it's walking distance to town, all the better. Pool is a plus, though only if it's open by memorial weekend in May. Price is an object, but it doesn't have to be "cheap." Just not too fancy/expensive. (I know - judgement call.)
We'll be driving our own car into Ashland this Saturday midday & plan to visit Bell Fiore Winery on our way into town Saturday. We've booked Plaza Suites at Ashland Creek (understand it's within walking distance to theaters). Seeing the Wiz Saturday night in the Elizabethan Theater @ 8PM.
Already saw The River Bride. Any suggestions for things to do Saturday afternoon - or places to eat dinner before the play?
Any suggestions welcome - it will just be me & husband (ages 62 & 71).
