How far is Kulkulcan Pyramid to Chichen Itza? What is difference ? What Cenotes do you recommend and place to eat?
Kukulcan is the Maya word fir the puramid, the feathered serpent, who returns each equinox. There is no food within the grounds of Chichen itza. The closest cenote is cenote Sagrade (sacred cenote) it is not the most impressive" but there is a very sacred ambience and it is worth visiting for that reason and the proximity to the pyramid. Cenote x-cajum is really great and you can swim in it (you cannot swim in sagrada) lmk if you need other info
It`s in the same complex. It´s actually a pretty big area, with a small area for restaurants outside. Several different Cenotes are along the way. I took a tour with Easy Tours which was excellent, strongly recommend them.
The pyramid is part of the Chichen Itza site. You can get some fast food at the site if you want but it depends what you want to have a restaurant meal or fast food. If you can bring your own lunch or stop on the way for food. If you are coming from Piste (from the west) you can eat there as there are lots of food places on the road side. As Arnold mentioned there is a place 3 km to the southeast called Cenote Ik Kil which has food and a great swimming spot.
Yes, Chichen Itza is the site, and Kukulkan is the pyramid on it. I would not eat at the hotel on site. I did not like their food. I would recommend either taking a picnic or eating in the little town outside the site.
