Hi, we are coming in a few days and based on others comments it seems to be mainly a non English based resort. None of us speak Spanish so I am concerned that we are going to be able to communicate with the staff. I actually called to ask a question and the person answering hung the phone up on me 3 times. I assumed they didn't speak English. We are looking forward to this wonderful trip and hope the service will not be an issue based on language.
All our staff speak english. So you don´t have to worry about it.

I do not think the language should be enough of an issue to affect your vacation. All of the menus and signs are in Spanish and English. The front desk staff speaks English as well. If you leave the hotel, the valet can tell the driver where you want to go and tell you the price; when you return, just give the driver a business card from the hotel. Just be patient and remember that communication is 80% visual.
We could always find staff who communicated in English. Some don't but it was not a problem to find a staff person who spoke English. The guests there are a mix of Spanish speaking and English speaking. Enjoy this beautiful town and the beach!
