I have booked to come with my Husband and 5yr old daughter, she is a Beatles fan too. Is there anything anyone can recommend to do with young children? Is there anything in the hotel that's restricted? We have been for the day and taken her to the Cavern Club, which she loved so shall go back there. Thank you
You can go down to Albert Dock & you can go on a boat ride, it's Yellow in colour - yes like the Yellow Submarine! and I believe it goes on land and in the water. I haven't been on it myself though.
I'm not sure if your daughter likes museums, there's the Liverpool Museum, it's near Albert Dock and it's free. Apart from that, there are no Parks or anything geared towards children near the hotel or at Albert Dock. I hope that helps.
Hi very difficult for a 5 year old as she probably dosnt know who the Beatles are . You could do the magical mystery tour it’s dtsrts at the Albert dick and finishes 2 mins from the hotel . Also maybe the ferry across the Mersey is a nice trip from the dock again . We were there at Xmas so was plenty to around the docks for. Children.
HD Night hotel is a typical hotel - not meant for 5 year olds but nothing restricted apart from the bar for drinking.
There is a Beatles Museum down on the dockside which is quite good
About £12 for about 45 min s but it is ok
There is also a bus tour from the dock area lasts about 3 hours maybe 1/2 hour too long but still ok about £20 I think
Sorry to be clear ...... there is the Beatles story exhibition
And another Beatles museum on the docks . There’s fair ground rides near there too , often
