Does the hotel have street maps available? And also is an Omnia pass/Roma pass better than booking tours with Dark Rome Tours? any advice/info would be great.
they give out maps I booked my tours with viator I found them very good saved lots of time by not having to que
They give away maps all the time, and they are very friendly and helpfull. Most of the sites are within walking distance. I've used the bus just once for the vatican. Can't help about passed, Sorry. Booked the Major ones online. The rest, like I said, walk.
Don't know about the Omnia/Roma pass but a couple of tips for admission to sites. The last Sunday of each month free admission to the Colosseum and Palatine hill monuments. Free admission is also available on the first Sunday of each month into the Vatican......
They give you a street map on arrival and direct you to key sites.
I didn't use a pass on either of my recent trips but highly recommend Dark Rome : used them for the collesium and trips to Tuscany and Pompeii, and the night time tour : the quality of the hosts and information they share is incredible
Yes the hotel has a free street map. I didn't buy any passes so I'm unable to answer your question about passes. I will say we used livitaly for tours of the colosseum and Vatican and they were great
Hi. Street map is available. Easy to walk around. Signs directing to main tourists attractions easy to follow.
Dark Rome tours are great. I do not use the 3 day pass.i walk everywhere when in Rome or catch a train out to country.
We used the hop on - hop off busses - the multiple language commentary was helpful, as were the stops. We bought a 3 day pass and saved lots on taxis with just a bit of extra walking.
Yes they have a map and are very helpful when asling fir ditections. Can't help with tours im afraud. We walked everywhete and enjoyed every minute!
