Hello looking to book for a very special 25th wedding anniversary and can't afford any mistakes or disappointments… can you advise on what would be the best room with ocean view and balcony? In addition is there any beach access at the hotel?
As far as I remember there were just a few rooms with "some" ocean view. Contact the owners, they are quite helpful accommodating guest request.
Regarding the beach access: There is none. the closest beach is like 10 minutes by car or over 30 minutes of hard (uneven, hilly) walking. Most people go to the turtle beach, but close by (even closer) there is a small beach with some fishers that for a few $ will take you around (better than the 'organize' tourist boat trip and way cheaper).
I agree -- we had a good room but no ocean view. The pool area did, and it was very nice .We stayed in the Loro room ( parrot room ). You will not be disappointed , even though the beach is a 5-10 mins drive. There is a beach at San Juanille about 10 mins drive away to the North. It is pretty with some snorkelling possible at high tide --I saw a stingray and baby octopus -- but the coral reef was damaged , as is common in so many areas of the Pacific coast.
The hotel is definitely "top class" and worth it .
No beach access, but most of the rooms have ocean views and a balcony. There is also an infiniti pool which overlooks the ocean. This is an amazing place and the owners are great help as well. You will not be disappointed.
There is no direct access to the beach from the hotel, it is actually a 5-10 minute drive to the beaches. Also, the closest big beach is not a swimming beach, it is where the turtles put their nests. There are rooms with ocean views and nice balconies. Cannot remember the names of the rooms. You should definitely contact the owners of the hotel, who will be extremely helpful. This is an amazing place if your wife likes a mix of beach, jungle and upscale boutique hotel a little bit off the beaten path, but not ideal for a 100% beach resort holiday.
Hi, I'm not sure if any of the rooms have an ocean view as the hotel is on a mountain in the middle of the jungle. From the pool you can see the ocean. All the rooms have a balcony which is spacious and you might even get some visitors of the furry kind. We got a squirrel with a very long tail!
