Hi, I'm interested in staying in one of the butterfly bungalows as i like the idea of being able to prep my own meals if i want to. Has anyone stayed in these and what was it like please? Eg very noisy location? Far from the beach? Would you recommend them? Two adults, no children.
hi if you want quiet butterfly will be great also they have deal on at moment ( cheapish )so I would say yes quiet private beach and ability to cook .
I saw the butterfly bungalows when I was on the tour of the turtle sanctuary. They are about 100 meters or so away from the hotel lobby. It did not seem like a noisy location. It is not that much further from the beach. From outside, they look more rustic than the rooms at the hotel. Can't really say what the interiors were like. Hope you will have a good trip.
WhenI was walking with my family in the beach I could see the butterfly bungalows, they are right in front of the beach. But you will have your neighbors very close from your bungalow. Also you will have to walk to the main building, it's not that far. I hope I could help more,
sorry about the late reply, however they are very exposed and little privacy.
We stayed in the ocean view suite. It has a full kitchen. We were there for a wedding and we had organised food for the four days. The only meals that we had from the resort was the wedding meal and the last day breakfast.
You also have access to the BBQs down in the camping area.
It is quite a laid back resort with very friendly staff. My only issue is their billing method. They give you an itemised bill but it is laid out in a quite complicated way.
As we had used the pool bar and foxys Bar on most days this made the checkout procedure a little bit complicated. If I visit again I would pay all my bar and activities as I go. Which is my normal process but as we were busy with organising my daughters wedding we got lazy.
I would recommend this resort.
